Nielsen's Frozen Custard

This is a surprisingly delicious treat! Wow. You gotta try this stuff!

We were visiting and depend a lot on reviews when choosing our places. This place is fantastic. Not only is the ice cream incredible, the atmosphere is adorable. Highly recommend if you love a good creamy ice cream. I was lucky enough to land on a butter pecan day and it was very good. The kids enjoyed their concretes.

My favorite custard in town -- very close to what you would get in the midwest. Feels like they have mint chip as the flavor of the day more frequently than others.

I've been going to this restaurant for years now and every time I go, the food is great, the service is fast and efficient, and the ambiance is fun and family friendly. This place is one of my go-tos for frozen custards.

This frozen custard is the best stuff in the world. Had a strawberry concrete, it tasted great.

Delicious, great service, and lots of fun antiques to look at and reminisce while waiting ir enjoying your scrumptious frozen custard. My pictures don't show much, but it's really fun and yummy pla e to go fir dessert.

We’ve been coming to this specific location for many years and it used to be great. Over recent years we’ve noticed they’ve expanded in Las Vegas and the quality of the employees hired cannot keep up with what it used to be. I hope the owner can focus on getting the team at this location back on track. Also not a fan of the many price increases.

Nielsen's is simply THE BEST. We go several times a week and it's always AMAZING!
EDIT: We don't go nearly as much as we used to because the service has plummeted since they started expanding. They screw up our order no less than 75% of the time. How hard is it to distinguish between chocolate/vanilla custard or to add brownies to a concrete? Very disappointing.

We stopped by here to check it out since moving to Las Vegas and wanted to find a place to get dessert at. The place is nice but it was crowded. We were rushed through the ordering process. Not sure if it was because it was busy. We ordered sundaes and were told it came with nuts and whipped cream. We asked to hold the whipped cream. When we got them, they had whipped cream and I saw we were charged for the whipped cream. We had to scrape it off so we were charged extra for something we did not ask for and don't like. If we go back, we will go when it is not so busy so we are not rushed and can confirm the charges.

Small space but such nice employees. The lady at the front was eager to greet us and help us since it was our first time. She packed it tightly and brought it to us. We will be back as a family.
