This place is a scam and ripping people off. DO NOT GO HERE! Listen to all these reviews. We wanted some Nigerian food while traveling and paid $70 for two jollof rice with plantains and goat meat. We each got 1 piece of goat meat and 3 pieces of cow skin or a chicken wing. Prices are also wrong on the menu, they will charge you 50% more than listed.

I’m Nigerian and would usually try to proudly support my own people but we also have to hold our folks accountable. There is no way on this earth that that place would pass a Health inspection from the City/County/State. First of all, the place is extremely dirty, smells like raw fish, and then when you sit down, you are met with extremely dirty menus that still have like old food and debris nastily placed throughout. I couldn’t even touch the menu fully I had to use the tip of my nails to turn the pages of the menu. The server was visibly sweating bullets, which is so disgusting to me that my server is sweating that much it - it was not even that hot in there. Now the mobile tray that was used to bring out the food was so filthy, like it had not been cleaned in two months. My husband ordered ofada stew and Rice. I initially ordered nkwobi and, several moments later, was told that there is none available and that I should order something else. The waiter never came back to take my replacement order so I left it because honestly, I was so disgusted with how dirty the place that I was OK passing on food at this point. When he brought my husband’s food on the dirty tray, the food was brought out cold. My husband literally just placed his fork and tasted it when he immediately had a visceral reaction to how cold the food was. He then called the waiter’s attention to let him know and the waiter essentially said because my husband had eaten out of the food that he had no options available. Imagine!!! So I looked at the waiter, as that “troublesome” wife, and asked him what he would have my husband do - and he said “oh you know I just can’t do anything because he’s eaten out of the food” very stupid! So, I said why don’t you go ahead and bring my husband a bowl of hot rice so he can eat with the stew - he agreed. My husband was finally turned off after being as patient as possible. I was ready to leave from the moment I walked, but my husband had patience up until that moment. We waited a few more minutes the man to come back with the rice but he never did, so we took our leave. I’m tired of Nigerians taking nonsense from Nigerian restaurants in the name of support. We need to start holding our people to high standards - to the same standards we would hold European or American restaurants. We cannot keep collecting rubbish in the name of “well it’s OK that’s how Nigeria is”. We’re tired. It’s time for us to do better because we can do better. I can’t take any more nonsense and that’s exactly why I’m taking my time to write this review, because it’s time that we Nigerians hold each other accountable for crappy service and have our service providers do better. Nigerian Cuisine, DO BETTER!!!!

When you see other reviews always believe them, if I could rate a zero, that’s what they deserve! I ordered food waited for over 3 hours and no food was served even though he kept saying your food will be ready in 15 minutes. At the end he couldn’t even serve my order because he lost it!
Waste of time

Immediately I saw the color of the food, I told
Myself there’s no way that’s a Nigerian Jollof rice. That Jollof looks like it was a concoction rice scrambled together. The goat meat and turkey was the absolute worst, no iota of seasoning. They just took the meat and dipped it in oil to fry.
Pls get a better cook, this was an embarrassment to Nigerian food.

Worst place to order food! This was an order $25 meat soup. Ordered delivery order. When I called they are said ' it was to be picked up' yet I was charged a delivery fee. Finaly pictured that is what was delivered $25. The soup was all in the bag and had to put back in the bowl. No pounded yam as expected. I tried calling several times nothing. DO NOT ORDER!
It should be all Zero though no option for zero

This is the worst nigerian food I have ever ordered. First of all the food cost $250 for only 4 plates of food, plus $25 for tax and $20 for delivery. The food took almost 3 hours to be delivered and then when the food finally arrived, every single item was terrible. Even the plantain tasted so bad. How can anyone mess up fried plantain!!!!!!!. The reviews are either lying or they don’t know what Nigerian food should taste like. Just look at the beans and the yam porridge, the food was not completely cooked. DON’T ORDER FOOD FROM HERE
**AFRICAN FOOD 4 NON-AFRICANS**
Came down to vegas for a visit and MJ's was about a 20 min drive to me and I didn't feel like cooking myself so I went. Sierra leoneans don't bother the spinach is nothing like what we are used to. As for my Nigerians maybe I got there on a bad day but it tastes like someone put sugar in the spinach and it was bitter. The soup was not good, the guy who helped me was nice and all but this is not a business it's at best someone playing. Maybe it's acceptable because it was in a lower income area? I will be returning the mess you served me yesterday and I don't mind giving you an opportunity to get it right because I want my African people to be great.

An absolute great place.. to get ignored, serviced microwaved food, and have your price raised at the point of sale. POS place. You’ll find fresher food at mcdonalds. They should just shut the place down.

A review can’t even describe how bad the food and experience. Just go find another place. Honestly don’t know how they’re in business.

My whole experience was bad start to finish. They raise your prices and give u bs reasons at pos. You can literally hear the microwave in the back. Everything about this place is sketchy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
