Ordered the Chicken Katsu and it was perfectly crispy and had amazing flavor. The Classic as well is sooo good and filling. ✨

i bought the shrimp tempura because i forgot i suspect a shrimp allergy and had to sadly throw it away once i realized half way. it was so delicious though and the shrimp breading was crunchy. i will think day and night about the o onigiri chicken katsu until i come back. loved the avocado.

Something new to try! The Bulgogi onigiri was tasty and the mixture of flavors was good (spam 😉).
Needs better comfortable seating.

This is a nice little place within the very popular and bustling Shanghai Plaza. Not quite a hole in the wall but also not as big as a full sit down place. It has a good amount of selection, but not so much to inspire decision paralysis. In terms of food, it’s best described as Japanese inspired comfort food, imagine sandwiches where the buns are rice and seaweed warped, handling requires a little practice, it can get messy like a quadruple stack burger with everything on top. Price is fair for the area, we got a bunch of stuff to try, including “Spider” which is a soft shell crab sandwich, delicious. Give it a go. Hope y’all enjoy.

I was mad! Because I am a Muslim, I will not eat pork and spam in my life, and I made a note that NO SPAM But they still let me eat it! How disrespectful to me! This restaurant is unprofessional!

The onigiri is all really good and around $10 after taxes and tip
One can fill up a small eater.

In particular, I liked the fried Oyster basket, fried shrimp tempura onigiri, and chicken katsu curry onigiri.

Tons of vegetarian options, and you can sub vegetables spam for some other options.

Vegetarian options: See menu. About 1/3 menu is or can be vegetarian

As someone who grew up eating Hawaiian onigiri, this place brings me so much joy. The food is fresh and delicious and my kids love it! We stop by all the time.

Good food. Small place so if you're eating in not a lot of seating. Would go again
