Nestled within the vibrant culinary landscape of Las Vegas, O.Onigiri stands as a beacon of authenticity. It offers a tantalizing taste of traditional Okinawa-style comfort food that transports you to the heart of Japan. Located in the bustling Shanghai Plaza on Spring Mountain Road, this charming eatery is a mere stone's throw from the iconic Las Vegas Strip, making it a convenient and accessible destination for locals and tourists alike.O.Onigiri specializes in crafting fresh and flavorful Okinawa-style Onigiri, a beloved staple of Okinawan cuisine cherished for its simplicity and heartwarming appeal. Unlike the conventional triangular Onigiri, the offerings at O.Onigiri boast a unique twist. They feature delectable fillings such as spam and egg omelet, expertly complemented by an array of additional ingredients, including seafood, meats, and vegetables, for added flavor.During my visit to O.Onigiri, I indulged in a culinary adventure that impressed and utterly satisfied me. The "Spider" Onigiri, a delightful fusion of fried soft-shell crab, crisp cucumber, and luscious unagi sauce, captivated my palate with its harmonious blend of textures and flavors. Each bite was a symphony of crispy, succulent, and savory goodness that left me craving more.Equally enticing was the "Aji Fry" Onigiri, featuring crispy horse mackerel coated in a golden panko breading and accompanied by tangy tonkatsu sauce. It was served atop a bed of crisp lettuce and juicy tomato. The juxtaposition of crunchy exterior and tender, flavorful fish was sublime, offering a delightful interplay of textures and tastes that danced across my taste buds with every bite.Last but certainly not least, the Bulgogi Onigiri captured my heart with its savory allure and irresistible aroma. Tender slices of marinated beef infused with the rich flavors of soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil nestled within a comforting embrace of warm rice created a symphony of savory goodness that left me craving more. Moreover, the restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy and welcoming feel that made me feel right at home. The immaculate service was impeccable, with the servers always on hand to ensure every need was met and every desire fulfilled. The staff was knowledgeable about the dishes and offered recommendations based on their personal favorites.Overall, my experience at O.Onigiri was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and, most importantly, the mouthwatering array of Okinawa-style Onigiri, each aspect of my visit surpassed expectations. Whether you're seeking a quick and satisfying meal on the go or a leisurely dining experience filled with culinary delights, O.Onigiri will surely delight and inspire you with its authentic flavors and heartfelt hospitality.

I’m from out of town so I’m unsure what the usual atmosphere is like on a Saturday, but we ordered three items which were all good, but we’re hoping for a quick pick up food and go, but nearly waited an hour for our food.

After months of missing onigiri from Japan, I decided I'd give O.Onigiri a shot at satisfying my craving.O.Onigiri's menu is made up of onigirazu, so not quite onigiri. In my travels to Okinawa I haven't come across onigirazu (only onigiri) but I'll take their word on it being the "Okinawa Way". Each onigiri-type sandwich comes with egg & spam, which had I read the menu better I would have known. I am a spam and egg lover, but unfortunately my husband feels the opposite. What he did love, however was the takoyaki. I refused to explain to him what takoyaki is, so that he'd try without judgement. He loved the flavor, and they tasted just like the plates I'd ordered on the streets of Japan and Korea. The location is small, tight even. But the employees were kind and food was made fresh, right in front of us.I will be back for the onigirazu when the cravings kick in.

The chicken curry onigiri was absolutely delicious. It's Okinawa style, like a folded flatbread. Was 8$ + tax, enough food for 2 to split.

Cool concept, cute but very tiny space. I got the original and it was tasty, but nothing to write home about. The spicy edamame was solid. Good flavor, spice level, and portion size. Good place for a quick snack.

Cute! With vegan options for the "spam". We got the Krabby and the Vegetarian Taro onigiri. Good and pretty filling, if a little pricey. There is a lot to pick from, and I appreciated the use of Taro in everything.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and a few able to be vegan.

I ordered the chicken Katsu onigiri during their happy hour and I was satisfied with the portion especially for $6.95! I also ordered the ribeye bulgogi and was not very impressed with their 2 tiny pieces of beef they gave. The ribeye bulgogi is a little more than the chicken Katsu price so for the portion, I would definitely get the chicken Katsu again. This is a great place to get a quick, small snack for a good price. It is small on the inside with limited seating and is not meant for groups bigger than 4. But it is good to take on the go with the way that it is wrapped.

Patient staff and cute interior design, loved the art on the wallsThey have a pretty extensive menu but all pretty simple at least for the onigiris, the okinawa style onigiri is essentially a spam musubi taco so you can expect rice on a sheet of nori with spam and egg and then the various flavors are added onto that base. The egg was nice and fluffy but any flavor that was salty became a little too salty on top of the spam, I don't personally mind too much bc that's just what that is and I love my spam but anyone sensitive to salt should prob stick more to the raw fish, mayo, or tempura varieties

Stumbled across this little gem. Really only offer seaweed wrap snacks but they are freshly made and oh so delicious. Best consumed immediately while the nori seaweed wrap is still crunchy. Perfect snack when you only need something to tie you over before the next meal.

If you love musubi and sushi, then this is your place to stop in. Honestly, I'm glad my friend knew this place because I wouldn't have spotted it or noticed it. I loved the options, the menu is super easy to understand and decide what you want. I would have definitely ordered another but dessert was planned for after. The curry ones sounded good but I opted for the spicy tuna and did not get disappointed. Good flavor, made well, slightly messy to eat so grab your napkins. Prices are expected for this area. If you're looking for a quick smaller bite, I'd recommend coming here!

So yummy! I followed this place on Instagram for a long time before but didn't have time to go until my last Vegas visit. It's very clean inside but there is limited seating. I had the Spider onigiri and added avocado. Thanks the the girls behind the counter for being so helpful.
