🔥 Off the Hook BBQ? More like Off the Rails BBQ. 🔥 Last night’s attempt to order dinner was an adventure I never asked for. We placed an online order at 3:50 PM for pickup at 4:20. Meanwhile, my sister-in-law calls to place her order and is told, “Oh, we don’t have quesadillas.” Cool cool cool — except we had just ordered one online. She even told them we had already ordered and asked to switch it to taquitos for us. Fast forward to us showing up at 4:20 sharp… ✨ The restaurant is LOCKED. ✨ We have to go into the smelly bar next door like we’re on some BBQ scavenger hunt. ✨ A guy finally brings out our food and hits us with: ❝Sorry, we don’t have queso, and I only made 5 of your taquitos. Want me to make more?❞ Oh sure, let me just wait while you make the rest of the food I already ordered 30 minutes ago, because clearly planning ahead is optional around here. 🙃 Even better? At 6:04 PM, we get an email saying they “can’t accept the order.” OH, THANK YOU for the update — only two hours too late and after we already came, waited, and canceled it ourselves. Just say you forgot or didn’t care and move on. Needless to say, we’ll be getting our BBQ elsewhere — preferably from somewhere that knows how to use a phone and a calendar.

I can not speak for the other food but I can tell you this is not BBQ. no smoke ring on the meat and no smoke flavor whatsoever and the meat tasted like it was done on a stovetop and showed. street corn tasted like it was frozen and mac n cheese tasted like chalk. if you want BBQ you won't find it here.

Don't waste your time, they're closed.
Says on website it closes at 2am, showed up at 10pm and it's closed.

Our baseball team travelled from San Diego for a baseball tournament this past weekend. Our group of 34 people ( adults and teenagers ), needed a place to eat in between games. They were able to accommodate all of us last minute. The service was outstanding and the food was so delicious! I highly recommend this place!!!

Had the sampler. Came out on a tray with every meat and every side for $60. Perfect sauce too! Perfect meal for 4 big eaters or more. We took a piece of upside down cake to split later in the evening and it was delicious.

Honestly, I do not know what the rave reviews are about.

We had the ribs, which were decent, the brisket which was extremely chewy (not the fat, the actual beef), a side of beans which turned out to be chili with beans which was very good, and coleslaw which was dry, like they just mixed it and it didn't have any time to soak.

Portions were generous but we tossed our leftovers because it just wasn't very good.

The service was prompt and very friendly.

I hope we caught them on an off night and will try again.

This place is phenomenal! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good but it was great. I’ve been to every bbq restaurant in the valley and this one tops it.

Just go into town and wanted something that wasn’t last vegas strip expensive but was good food and glad we gave this places a try. Everything from the home made mac n cheese to the brisket was really good. We will be coming back.

This review is a long time in the making. I've eaten here five times now, but have held off on making a review because of the first experience (January 2024) here. I'll write that first and then mention the food after.

As you can see in my picture of the menu (which is also from January 2024), the Small Family Pack for BBQ is $75, which is not unreasonable for what you are getting. We ordered and ate, get the bill, and see that the Small Family Pack was charged $85. We ask the server about it, and she says that they are starting a new menu tomorrow and that the prices have changed a bit.

Okay, well if I was there tomorrow (Monday) then I get it, but I wasn't. I was there today (Sunday), and the menu I was given had a set price on it. That is what I should be paying. I figured maybe it was changed in the POS early and mistakes happen, but the server just kinda shrugged it off.

Even though $10 isn't a lot and I would have ordered the same thing even if I KNEW it was $85, this just isn't a good way to do business.

On top of that, this place is doing that dumb thing where they pass the cost of doing business onto the customer and adding a 3-4% charge for a credit card purchase, which I didn't see listed anywhere on the menu or in the location itself. It wasn't until I payed and got a small printed receipt that there was a line charge for it. I always carry cash because of this. Again, not a great way to do business.

For a first visit, I'll admit, this doesn't bode well.. and my girlfriend still refuses to eat here, along with a couple other industry people I checked with to make sure I wasn't overreacting, but they all agreed with me. The problem is... this might be the best BBQ in Las Vegas.

The brisket is surreal. The smoke flavor and tenderness are second to none. Maybe Soulbelly compares.. that's about it. It is great on its own, or in a quesadilla as well. The sauce, which I believe they make themselves as well, is some of the best I've ever had.

The ribs were also super tender, but had some snap to them(which I love). The fries are crispy, but soft on the inside. The mac and cheese is perfect.

I've also eaten the Tri-tip multiple times (sliders and sandwich) and the chicken taquitos as well. They are both two of the best examples I have had in the Valley. I'm not sure there would be any item on here that wouldn't just crush your expectations. I am not sure how they haven't gotten more exposure and attention.

But still, my girl won't come back. I've been able to put that first experience behind me, as it could have easily just been fixed, and it doesn't reflect on the quality of the food, or even the owner themselves, but it does feel bad man. That's why I knocked off a star and took six months to write anything.
