The restaurant was empty when we got there at 730 pm when I usually use to seeing a pretty packed place around that time even earlier but this was one of the AYCE places we haven’t been yet in highsight probably never should of went for a reason after eating at about 20 plus AYCE SUSHI places I have to say this was horrible I’ve eaten at gorilla sushi - AYCE SUSHI & ASIAN FUSION - Yama sushi - sushi and oyster bar - Sakana - Neko sushi - blue fin - samiura - it’s sushi - kaizen - makino - biwon and soooo many more never had an issue what really got me is they tried to cover what was wrong instead apologizing and know they what was wrong at hand they continued to make excuses I’m was willing to pay if the food is bad or good either way some food was really and the oysters was good to but the uni was not good uni is usually orange or yellow never seen gray uni was sour tasted old the waitress ANGEL stated that they are not busy so stuff goes bad and the quall egg is on the menu for AYCE but they charge extra just for the quill egg i was okay with that and ordered it and just kept eating I get my dessert with was a honey toast which should be bread but I got vanilla ice and a piece of ROLL I took a bite the I went in for another and saw MOLD on the roll I ran to the bathroom and throw up I told the waitress and she said it was burnt how does a roll get burnt inside and anything I’ve ever seen burnt was brown or black not green I advise for anyone seeing this to visit any of the other places the best one is AYCE SUSHI & ASIAN FUSION same price and very fresh sadly I would of never given a 1 star review if they didn’t make excuses for their mistakes and the service trying to lie about it just made it worse when it’s right in their face MOLD take your chances eating here!

This place is really a hidden gem that I feel no one knows about but me, I was here when they opened and every time I come back now, after 3 years, the still have the best baked muscles, and the most fresh tasting fish. The 32 dollars dinners are well worth it. You are paying for quality.

***Unfortunately, Ono has gone downhill. I have probably been here 20 times at least but the last time I went, the menu and pricing had changed. There are now different levels of All-You-Can-Eat depending on the rolls or type of fish you wish to have. I understand that the price has to go up at times, and it probably makes sense for them to implement the new pricing changes, however, the fish quality has gone way down as well. I would gladly pay $100 for All-You-Can-Eat if the fish quality is good, but the fish I ate my last time there would qualify for a $15.99 price point. I'm sorry, but I don't think I will be coming back anymore and would have a hard time recommending Ono to anyone anymore. Such a shame because it WAS a hidden gem***This place has by far the best All-You-Can-Eat sushi in town! I love sushi but I'm not an AYCE fan because usually the quality is subpar by a mile. That's not the case here. The fish tastes fresh. The fish to rice ratio Is perfect. They know what they're doing here. If you want AYCE this is the place to go!

One of my favorite ayce sushi spots in town if not #1. The seared miso salmon nigiri is my jam here. Also some of the best little fried shrimp, love their breading so thin and crispy. Everything is good here tho. I think new dessert item, fried ice cream is a nice finish. Also cheap happy hour sakes too to check out

It was me my family’s first time trying sushi and it was AMAZING! They were so kind and patient with us trying to decide. The deep fried roll was delicious it was just perfect the right texture the right flavors everything. My personal favorite was the bacon wrapped scallops they were so good! I ordered 3 plates, over all it was an amazing experience. If your new to sushi or have a love for sushi already this is definitely the right place

Visiting from Reno. This place was pleasantly empty on the eve before Thanksgiving. The decor/atmosphere is somewhere in between a counter service restaurant and an upscale restaurant. The sushi bar itself is very minimal and barely could be called that. It features very limited seating with a very narrow countertop split to just a couple seats split between sitting in front of each of the two refrigerators. The service was friendly and very prompt for AYCE but our party of 4 and a party of 6 were the only ones in the place so YMMV.The menu is LARGE and varied. Excellent roll menu even though I only eat nigiri. Large appetizer menu with menu choices including pork belly.Fish quality was what I term 'standard' which is typical of all well-rated AYCE places. Nothing spectacular like you would get at a place 3 times the price of course. But you can get one order or one piece of several high-end choices most AYCE places I've been to don't even offer like Uni, Sweet Shrimp, and a few others.Rice is seasoned well. A lot of AYCE places overseason like the AYCE buggets oversalt or add MSG. They do normal seasoning. The cuts of fish on the Nigiri were thin, narrow, and long so they draped onto the serving plate. So average amount of fish since even though it was very thin it was longer than normal. Not quite as satisfying of a bite as with a more typical thicker and wider cut but shorter (for me at least) but still very good.Price is typical (low $30's for dinner) and of course a lot better deal than eating on the strip. I can see how it gets 5 stars as you can't do much better for an AYCE place. They could use a bit of a refresh/upgrade of the interior decor though. This would only be a special occasion dining destination if the guest of honor doesn't care about having an upscale atmosphere.Close to knocking a star off for atmosphere but for an AYCE Strip Mall joint it's just fine.

We absolutely loved Ono Sushi! Myself and my 2 daughters went there this last summer and fell in love! We even went back for our last meal before going back home. The service was awesome, and I fell in love with Sushi here. One of daughters loved their bacon wrapped scallops!!!!! I think she ended up eating like 8 servings, crazy!! But we have just been craving it since we left and can’t wait to get back to Vegas just for the Sushi!
