We always eating here whenever visiting Vegas.
Usually always tipping when eating out but today we didn’t leave a tip and the short small asian old lady look at us upset and went back to us with receipt said you didn’t put tip! That was unexpected and sounds demanding…

We have been here a few times now.
Stay to their noodle dishes, sushi is horrible, absolutely horrible, I’ve had sushi in many restaurants in town, good or bad, but this one is the only one I wasn’t able to finish….
Salmon is not fresh, dry sushi rice, strange taste in month, they did not provide wasabi or soy sauce, $27 for one plate I thought it’s going to be really good. Very disappointing.
Dumplings are also terrible (frozen product).
Carbonara Udon is ok to me.
Tantan noodles - spice level 1 is enough, very spicy.
Tsuke noodles (cold) - amazing 5/5
Spicy Chicken miso (cold) - 4/5
Karaage is great, we loved it.
Update… it’s crazy how the price has doubled now since the first time I came here.
Our waitress was super nice and the udon noodles are so soft! I got the large Niratama Udon, which was very large and not too expensive ($14)! The atmosphere was also very laid back and quiet. My favorite part of this place was the jar of tempura flakes- it was a nice condiment to have.

Very good, very authentic. The yuzu soda was very nice. Had fresh zested yuzu in the drink. The grilled sausage with whole grain mustard was very good. Had the Nabeyaki Hot Pot Udon small size good for one person. The large size is very large could feed two people. It’s a small place so you can end up next to noisy people or considerate people.

My family and I have dined here several times and it never disappoints. We love the food here — the udon noods are perfectly al dente, and honestly, you cannot go wrong with any bowl you choose. We’re partial to cold udon though, so we frequently order that. We also love their hand rolls, though we’ve noticed they cut back on what used to be an extensive listing of hand rolls.
Also, their calamari and hamachi crudo (yellowtail with yuzu and jalapeño) are delicious!
Service is efficient.
There is ample free parking in a lot that’s shared with many other restaurants. Highly recommend this local joint. So good!

My friend and I visited this place after we couldn’t get into the sushi place next to it. Very impromptu. Was not disappointed.
We ordered a the Tozai snow maiden sake that was very good. I also ordered the takoyaki, beef sukiyaki and they were so delicious as well. Made to order and served hot.
We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back!

Restaurantji Recommends
Get the dumplings. The sake is nice. Udon is and broth are clear and pure tasting. Salmon belly was also delicious. Restaurant was spotless and clean, staff fast and attentive, gave good recommendations too.

This is a hidden gem. The food here reminds me so much of the food in Japan.
Everything we’ve ever tried here from the Udon to the Onigiris feel authentic and are made so well.
I love coming here when I want some good comfort food.

Im not talking about food quality, but the 18% gratuity CHARGE makes us feel to give 1 star. Store include 18% charge on the bill without notify customer, yes, we were stupid enough to pay another 18%, end up they received un-deserved 36% of tips.
Everything would be cool if server inform that 18% gratuity included, we could consider to pay extra if we like to. But saying nothing, sure u keep that extra 18%, this is last time I visit this restaurant.
FYI, other restaurant either mention 18% GRATUITY upfront, or remind customer when they put extra tip. This restaurant done nothing but happily accept the extra money.

First and foremost, I ordered this through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, there was no utensil or sauce for my chicken karage. Consequently, we had to resort to eating noodle soup with OUR HANDS. Additionally, the chicken karage was overcooked and almost burnt. The beef sukiyaki is good, but only if I had utensils to enjoy it. The miso chicken udon was super salty mere by no protein in it at all maybe a teaspoon of ground chicken.
Would I come here/ order again? Probably not, with the price I’m paying for udon. You would expect some decent level of services. NO UTENSIL OR SAUCE.
