From the hostess to the wait staff, absolutely horrible service. I will Never be back. The only saving grace was the general manager Manuel who deserved to be hired somewhere Else.
I took my husband and parents here for dinner on a Friday night - made reservations but weren't necessary since it was pretty dead. My parents did arrive a little later than the time (my husband and I got there about 15min early) so there was some buffer before we put in drink/food orders. That being said, the food was good! Menu was a little confusing, and one of the things we ordered never came out (luckily we also weren't charged for it, so it was a wash). Our server seemed pretty aloof and not super knowledgeable of the menu when we asked questions (he would just point to the menu items). Wasn't super attentive even though it wasn't very busy. We still had a good night but for 6 drinks, an appetizer, and 4 entrees, it definitely wasn't worth 500 dollars.
The drinks were off-target, and the service was inconsistent. This Michael Mina property needs to improve its attention to detail. I can't recommend it.
Never got one of the apps we ordered or our drinks but waiter didn't know because he never came by for probably 20 minutes after taking our order. Main courses took forever to come out as well. Again no updates from waiter. Sea bass was drenched in butter and over seasoned. Poor cut of steak for the price. Waiter wouldn't know because he was nowhere to be found. Manger did come by finally (without us asking) so they knew in the end they had missed the mark. Poor service and food quality with Vegas prices. Skip this place for sure.
Didn't have our Rez when we arrived, Sommelier was very sarcastic, gave a $200 price point and he brought $84 bottle. Asked waiter about sea bass to make sure was not whole fish prez, served Branzino split with skin on and tail. Grilled octopus like shoe leather, filet was cold and served with rice that looked like it came from a box, no seasoning. Waiter was defensive instead of apologetic. Bartender before we were seated was best part of the evening!!! $$$$ price, 2 cent service, nickels worth of food.
This restaurant was less than spectacular
$72 for a tough strip steak that was very thin
$115 for a whole lobster that was probably 3/4 lbs
The topper was the hair in my. Wife’s desert.
It was sub par totally
We are really well traveled folks from Hawaii and this restaurant wasn’t good
Micheal Mina should visit and assess

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants we've ever been. Yandis was a fantastic bar tender. So great!
Outrageously overpriced unremarkable food. Don’t expect OpenTable reservations to be honored. When you arrive at the time of reservation you are treated like a walk in. Waited 45 mins to be seated. Front desk are clueless as to how run a reservation book.

Love the price fixe menu and wine pairings. Very attentive sommelier and delicious, healthy food.

While the food was good service as far as getting in was very difficult. If one has a reservation you would expect to be seated remotely close to ones reservation. While having a texting system that “text when your table is ready” is really just a reminder that you have a reservation. We waited for 45 min after our reservation to be seated. I know some would say to just go somewhere else and believe me I wanted to. I couldn’t though as they took my credit card info for reservation so they could charge me if I didn’t show for my reservation. Is this some ploy to get money out of people for leaving?, or is it to torture hungry people? Either way I won’t be going back

So, the prawns were amazing. The sommelier introduced us to a Pinot noir we will order shipped to our house. The sea bream was tasty, but it was not prepared as described. Other items we ordered were fine - not amazing and not bad. There was an ingredient on my partner's plate that he could not identify - he thought it was fat, I thought it was eggplant; whatever it was, he put it aside and he will eat just about anything. At two hours in we were rushing to finish our entrees and leave for a show. We only had two courses and it was about an hour and 15 to get our entrees. The table next to us waited 30 minutes on their drink order. Maybe someone called out sick and they were stretched. Something certainly was not working! There seemed to be a ton of staff - no fewer than five people had some role in our service. Too many other choices for us in Vegas to chance another try at it. Plus side, they were very interested to know if we had food sensitivities.
Most proteins were overcooked at the table. Apps were very good. My baked salted sea bream was good. There's a lot of places in Las Vegas to eat. I wouldn't say this restaurant offered me anything special to make me want to return. I guess I expected more out of Micheal Mina restaurant.
Food was great. Highly recommend.
