Rudy was a fabulous server, along with the whole team. The service is so kind. I love the option to sit at the sushi bar, at the tatami table, the hibachi table, and stooled tables. Truly amazing. And don't get me started on the food! It is comparable to sushi from Japan. Definitely try this Bistro, you do not want to miss out!

The only good thing about this place is service. The most dirty and stinky place I have seen and this is a restaurant where you serve food ?!!! The only reason we didn't leave is we felt bad for waiter, who was very sweet to us. I seriously can't image how is this palce still operating ! Toilets are more filthy than random public outdoor toilets . Miso soup was diluted, same like Ponzo sauce , food wasn't great either. I have a feeling this place was never clean since the day he was open in 1971 or so ! Shame of you whoever owns this place! It's also disrespectful for people who need to work in such an unsanitary conditions. I only took this few but from floors, walls, sushi bar, sticky tables etc Dust like that is not "growing " overnight but it takes quite a few years. lol

We only had dishes from the kitchen so can't comment on their sushi or teppanyaki. The space is divided up into 3 area. Didn't know better, we settled for table and chair. I wish I had take a walk around first. As it turns out, the tatami section is more cosy. The teppanyaki with a group was boisterous. The table area near the sushi bar was cooler and our cooked food quickly got cold.We ordered tempura, teriyaki and sukiyaki which came with soup and rice. Food came out in good time. Sukiyaki is the most successful dish. Soup is not miso based, a bit disappointing. Tempura were a bit oily. Chicken did not have enough terriyaki sauce for flavour. Shrimp was tiny, crunchy but lack sweetness of good shrimps.Service was very good. They worked as a team and make sure dirty dishes were cleared, tea was replenished. Only felt a bit rushed when they asked about dessert before we finished eating. Otherwise, no issues. Would recommend but choose where to sit to suit the meal.

This place is a Las Vegas classic. Its small casual environment with delicious sushi. My favorite place to sit is on the tatami mats. When we ordered the sushi to the time it hit the table, it was less than ten minutes. The service was very quick, to say the least. My favorite pieces we definitely the nigiri salmon, tuna and the uni. The uni was delicious and buttery. I have been to this location quite a few times over the years and it never disappoints.

We are at the booths, and you take your shoes off! Super cool experience and the food is SO SO good. We ate the fried squid fingers ( and I hate seafood ) and it was perfect. All around super nice, and great place to eat!

I love the atmosphere! The staff provided awesome service! The food was authentic and portions served were generous and tasty! While sipping an glass of Fuji apple saki (cold)… I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki, a saki sampler which was delightful, green tea ice cream, red bean ice cream (which is excellent), and a scrumptious NY style cheesecake topped with strawberries. It wasn’t my birthday or any special occasion but their service made me like it was. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Good food and excellent service. We go to the Sahara location frequently. ( Maybe the Henderson location is just a little better but much further away. Either location won't disappoint. Usually get the ramen/fried rice combo. Portions are large and taste is genuine.
