Impeccable service and food could not have asked for a better dining experience. Highly recommend. Shrimp Cocktail was the best I've had in years.

Wide open dining room. Advised we could sit at the bar of take a booth seat in the car area. Then ....nothing. we finished our drink and returned to the strip where we knew we'd be served.

The hostess accommodated me and my party by seating us closest to the window which was kind of her. Our server Nina was excellent with her service and care. The food was great + the complimentary birthday dessert. Everything was great and we’ll be back!

I have no idea why this place is rated so high, especially at this pricepoint. We will never eat here again. The steaks were mediocre at best (aged kansas city strip and filet mignon), the asparagus was woody and not fresh, the sauces and the brussel sprouts were blend. The beet salad was tasty and the mac and cheese was fine. The cocktails were boring and there was a lack of choice. The service was professional and attentive, but we would not eat here for even half the price. Also, we were sitting outside which was really noisy. So for 160/ person this was a horrible food experience.

We had a dinner at Oskar's Steakhouse in July 2025. We've ordered 2 steaks - NY strip and Kansas aged NY strip. Both steaks were outstanding. I often grill steaks and lamb chops myself at home and I was very much impressed by the quality of meats and how the steaks were prepared. On the other side, the side orders were just OK, and I was somewhat disappointed with the Brussel sprouts side order. However, it was relatively minor issue and didn't spoil our experience. Finally I need to mention service and ambience, which were outstanding. My boys and I truly enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back next time we are in Las Vegas.

Make SURE you make a reservation! They didn't ask if it was an event when I made my reservation, so if you want them to recognize something you should mention it at reservation. I was very impressed with the establishment. Quiet yet mumbles and muttering of enjoyment. I actually stayed at the Plaza hotel and visited this restaurant after watching Tonya and Dave from Turn It Up World reviews. The atmosphere is very clean and there are beautiful chandeliers and table settings plus a glittering view of Fremont St. Regardless of the atmosphere, it is not required to dress formal or wear a house jacket to enter (which we have experienced traveling at times) In my opinion this makes it very tourist friendly. This being said, my husband was in basketball shorts, t shirt, and hat ( it also was our 28th wedding anniversary LOL) . They do bring you bread, butter and water before ordering. Our waitress didn't bat an eye with the multiple questions my husband had regarding the menu. We ordered crispy calamari for an appetizer. We asked if it actually comes out crispy and we were told yes. It was. Seasoning was delicious and didn't even need any of the 2 sauces it came with. I ordered Red wine and the pour was good. I ordered the surf and turf with JUMBO shrimp and they were certainly that. Huge and delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. My husband got the rib cap and my son ordered the rib eye and both of them said theirs was cooked perfectly as well. They preferred the steaks at Oscar's more than Hell's Kitchen ( I ordered the wellington there so can't compare). As for sides(wich if you are unaware everything is a la cart) meaning separate charge. Hubby and I ordered the ceaser salad. My husband didn't like it at all. I liked it but at $18 and it being so large, I wish we had shared. It is a large romain stalk cut in half and dressed with dressing. That being said, I paid $16 each for both my glasses of wine and didn't bat an eye. I did see many people sharing sides that were large so if you're on a budget don't be shy to do so. The management came by our table to check in and asked how things were wich was nice. When she noticed my husband didn't eat his salad she asked if there was a problem with it. He said yes, sorry I really didn't care for it. She looked shocked and took the plates away. Our server came by often making sure we had everything we needed, and the was a gentleman who's job was simply to make sure we always had water. That was wonderful to be given that much water after being in Vegas for days lol. Bless that young man. At the end of the experience we were all stuffed and smiling despite my husband's salad sadness. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. There was only one thing I had a problem with. After management came by and was told of the $18 Roman heart salad disappointment, there was absolutely no attempt to rectify the disappointment. It wasn't addressed by offering another option or taken off the bill. Basically it wasn't addressed at all. That was the only thing that made me feel not only disregarded, but sorry for the waitress we had whom was so awesome. We didn't punish her in her tip for horrible management, but I'm sure there are people who do

Everything here was excellent! Started out with the Caesar salad which the only critique I’d give it is that the core of the romaine is still attached… just cut it off and it’s fabulous! The pork belly appetizer was delicious!!!!! And finally I ordered the bone in rib eye, and boy did it hit the spot! I’m normally a filet girl but I went with this cut and I was so happy I did! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Vegas!

Very expensive, you're paying for something other than the food.
Scallops, Peas, Risotto and a Caesar Salad was $75.00

Very nice, but service could have been a bit better. I made early reservations for my arrival 7pm. Was seated rather quickly, outside patio, nice view of Circa and with a turn, Fremont Street. Door staff pleasant, waiter was fine, but not great, a young man, somewhat seemingly inexperienced, or just not much of a talker. As a single diner, it's nice when people are a bit friendlier and more talkative, (which at all my other dining venues this trip, they were, some extremely so, this this sorely lacked here) as it enhances the meal. The food, very good, French Onion soup, hot and delicious, 14 oz NY Strip cooked medium, and delicious and mushrooms were terrific. With 2 of the Mayor's drink, the Hizzoner (at $22 a pop, WOW) the meal was a success. I might return, as it was nice, but I must say that with superb service this could have been a 5. Management needs to realize staffing is a BIG requirement, especially trying to be a 5 star property and with the prices they charge. Their service missed out. But as I say, it's still recommendable, but I just wish it has been better for my first meal on this year's journey.

Oscar's Steakhouse provides a classic Las Vegas experience with exceptional service and a sophisticated atmosphere. The rib cap and New York strip steaks are both outstanding, and the mushroom side dish is a must-try. Be sure to save room for dessert and explore their excellent cocktail menu.

This may have been one of the worst experiences we have had in Las Vegas; we usually travel to LV at least 3-4 times a year and always like to try different places and Oscar's was one of those places we wanted to try since long ago but just had the chance to do it this visit, and it was a complete disappointment!; to start, the place was not really busy but the wait was about 15 minutes but we were informed there was space by the bar, tables and booths were open so we decided to sit at one booth; here is where the night started to get south: it took almost 10 minutes to get someone to bring us water and the menus; we were finally serviced snd placed the drinks order qhich were non-alcoholic and they were super sweet, very artificial and not even cold, a bunch of coconut milk with soda water snd more sugary stuff.....$14 each! Then we olaced the order for 1 bone-in, well done ribeye steak and 2 medium-well new york strip steaks, with one order of fries; the meat comes with NO sides, all the sides are extra which is ridiculous and another way to gauge prices charging extra for a sode of fries. In the meantime, we were served some warm bread, which was the only decent thing we were served. Then we waited for ONE HOUR fornour food to arrive; the server approached us around 45 minutes in to tell us the food was on its way, only to make us wait for another 15 minutes to get our food; the well-done, bone-in steak was burnt as well as one of the medium-well NY strip, the other was fully cooked and dry as heck and warm, not even hot! $65 dollars each!!! I expressed my discomfort to the server, whom tried to get a manager to come over...........the manager NEVER came, just told the server to offer us a side or a sauce or a desert for free, like that would even solve the nightmare of a dinner we had. If it would had been earlier, we would have walked away but it was alread 10 pm by then and we did not have many other options after almost 1.5 hours of wait. The lack of a manager showing up in a situation when a table has been delayed for over an hour and the lame options given as a customer recovery options are simply unacceptable! We understand someone can have a bad day but that's where a good manager steps in, take control of the situation and turns a horrible situation into a small incident with a pleased customer! The manager at this place is as good as the food they sell: SIMPLY AWFUL! The server tried to help by applying a 10% discount on the bill, which was appreciated but totally ridiculous considering we were talking about an almost $300 bill! My wife left more than half of her steak, as well as my other guest since they were almost uneatable and i did eat it because i was starving and did not want to get a hot dog at the bar next door. This may be the worse steakhouse in town, not only the food was awful but the service and the management don't give s crap about their product or their customers, NEVER AGAIN!!

Ordered a dry aged steak that was over cooked, talked to Karla the manager she said she will cook a mid rear steak. The next steak was RAW. Then she said what is the problem. I am a Vegas Local and this is how we’re treated.

We are very disappointed in the entire experience at this iconic steakhouse.
First off they wouldn't seat me because the sleeves on my shirt were short, ridiculous because my wife was wearing a dress with no sleeves lol. They made me go downstairs and buy a t shirt that had sleeves 2 inches longer than I had on, the hostess was very rude about it as well.
We started with a crab cake, no flavor, very little crab, I'm from Maryland where crab cakes are king.
My wife had the filet, cooked perfect but very little taste.
I had the ribeye, cooked perfect, definitely wasn't a prime grade cut of meat. About what I would get at a black Angus restaurant.
For the price they charge here they really need to step things up, maybe pick a better grade of beef and try using some seasoning.
We will never be back or recommend this place.

My husband and I came as we heard how great the restaurant was. The view is a 10/10. Honestly there is no bad spot. It gives a spectacular view on Fremont street. The service was just so amazing and tentative. The steaks were excellent. The oysters were amazing so fresh. The sides of asparagus and brussel sprouts were amazing. This was an amazing experience and highly recommended.
