Absolutely fantastic place. My wife and I were visiting Las Vegas for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and this was the first time we had been to the Arts District. If we come back to Vegas, we will definitely visit Palate again.

The atmosphere and décor is wonderful, and was very much what my wife was hoping for when she booked. The staff were all exceptional, both friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Every staff member genuinely looked to be enjoying their work.

We visited during Happy Hour and had drinks and food. Both were exceptional. Getting an Anniversary card at the end of our meal with a surprise dessert capped off a brilliant evening.

I personally recommend that anybody thinking about visiting the Arts District does so, and visits Palate during that visit.

Just got married at Little Vegas Chapel, decided to get something the eat, walked pass all the other restaurants and came upon PALATE! OK, here is were it gets interesting. Once you walk in you look and think can I afford to eat at a place with bomb decor, atmosphere is elegant and upscale. Right away we were greeted at the front and seated. The service was on point. Now let's talk about the FOOD. The chef was amazing! as you can see in the kitchen he's there whipping up amazing top notch food. Try the (half of chicken) also the (pork belly) your taste buds will thank you! The drinks are reasonable and made with the heart of a master bartender, try the (purple rain). And last but least everyone there was so warm and inviting. I just want to thank you all for making my wedding day experience wonderful. I will definitely come back!

The food was delicious! The restaurant also has very cute decor. But we were disappointed that the happy hour is only at their bar. It didn’t state that on the happy hour menu online so a little misleading. It’s ridiculous too since the restaurant wasn’t even busy so I don’t get why we couldn’t be served happy hour food at our table. We ended up ordering food off the regular menu. Our waiter was very kind and recommended a lot of good dishes. The drinks were also very good and amazing presentation for some of them. The roasted pork shoulder, the miso bronzed pork belly, and the biscuits were the best!!! Do not recommend the queso di saganaki, the cheese was hard and we were expecting it to be melted. Overall would come back.

There’s a lot to like about Palate. The space alone is worth a visit — all jewel tones, chandeliers, and drama, like someone let Versailles have a desert dream. The vibe lands somewhere between art gallery lounge and eccentric aunt’s dining room. Add in a little live music and outdoor seating that’s ideal for people-watching (and apparently, the occasional cowboy brunch), and you’ve got ambiance nailed.

The service? Let’s call it measured. Not rude, not neglectful — just the kind that makes you question whether your server accidentally joined the band between courses.

Now, the food: I went for the Morning Fog frittata, which unfortunately lived up to the name — hazy on flavor, impossible to find your way through even after a liberal dousing of the house hot sauce (which, to its credit, was excellent). My husband fared better with the Grits & Gravy — poached eggs perched on creamy grits, plus a cameo of fried chicken that was crunchy and well-seasoned. The biscuit, allegedly a house star, didn’t make an appearance; our server vanished long enough that ordering it felt like too much commitment for a brunch relationship.

On the upside, Palate shines where many brunch spots phone it in: the drinks. A zero-proof Whiskey “0” Sour was balanced, sophisticated, and actually worth ordering twice. Whoever’s behind that bar knows what they’re doing.

In short, Palate is the kind of place you want to love — artful, ambitious, and alive with personality — but it’s still finding its rhythm in the kitchen and on the floor. Go for the aesthetic and the mocktails; just temper your culinary expectations (and bring your own biscuit fantasy).

We got a palate board for brunch as well as the biscuits which came with a carrot marmalade. I also got the grits and my spouse got the pork belly! Everything was delicious and every staff member from waiter, to host, to bussers, to owner were so kind! You can tell this place is ran great

My apologies for the late review, but I visited Palate on September 13, 2025, and this was my second time dining here—it was another great experience! I had the steak and eggs, and the chef went above and beyond by accommodating my request to add a few extra items into the scrambled eggs, which came out perfect.

We also received outstanding service from Cole, who was extremely pleasant to converse with. He took the time to recommend Palate’s sister restaurant, Basilico Ristorante Italiano, for dinner, which we’ll definitely be trying soon.

Thank you, Cole, for providing such a friendly, welcoming, and memorable experience. I can’t wait to visit again!

This review will not give justice to this place. It was hands down the best food and experience I have had in years. Beautiful and the presentation of the food matched the explosive flavor. Every bite was so good. Highly recommend! Will be going here every time we fly back to Vegas.

We had the most amazing brunch here. The food is super yummy and is presented so beautifully. The biscuits with the maple butter and preserve are to die for, the best we’ve ever had. Their espresso martini is awesome and is served in the sweetest little crystal glass, we had a mocktail that came all smokey in the cutest kettle. The banana bread French toast is decadent, all their dishes have an innovative twist to them. We got the opportunity to talk to Chef Sterling, who is amazingly creative with his ideas and clearly has a passion for what he does. The decor is art inspired and fun. There’s even a library with books in the restaurant. Palate is a gem, you don’t want to miss it if you visit Vegas!

The whole vibe was so unique and fun. We were waited on hand and foot. Never had an empty water. Food was so awesome and fed all four of us and had enough left overs for lunch to feed all fours of us the next day. Did not disappoint loved every second of it

I set my bags on the stairs in front of the restaurant to call a friend I was to meet to dine with here. The woman came out and asked me to move my bags, which is acceptable. Her disgusting attitude and rolling of her eyes were a huge turn off. I'll happily spend my money elsewhere. Never coming here again.

I really LOVED the food, service, and atmosphere from the time I walked in till I left. Started my experience with TEA FOR ONE (OR TWO - CLARIFIED JASMINE TEA MILK PUNCH, GIN, LYCHEE, YUZU SYRUP, LEMON ) came in a beautiful tea set and with matching pot.

Ordered the SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY Meal - half portion (MARYS FREE RANGE FRIED CHICKEN (Perfect crispiness and juiciness!) , KIMCHI MAC (I'm glad I tried this! I would of never thought it would be soo good!), TRUFFLE CORN CHEESE, BISCUITS, JAM,) and I can brag on this meal enough. 10-10 Recommend!

Ended with a SMOKIN’ SECTION Drink (COCONUT-WASHED WHISKEY WITH COFFEE AND MUSHROOMS, CINNAMON RAISIN, CHOCOLATE BITTERS, SMOKED ) presented in a smokin' glass chamber that gave this drink the perfect experience to end the night with.

I can't wait to go back and order the same thing lol ... I can't help it..It's all I talk about when it comes to this place! I send friends & family here constantly.

Don't forget to take pictures in the King & Queen chairs by the quaint TV and Fireplace area. It's located in the Arts District where if you go early, you can enjoy walking and shopping in the lovely eclectic area.
