They gained another negative review here. 👋
I rated this no star but no option for that.
To save you for unpleasant experience.
I recommend don’t buy in this store.
I usually support small local bussinesses but not this one. beside of the expired products that i bought and consumed and charging me with extra 3 dollars for a custom item that i didnt buy. the old lady working there or perhaps the owner will serve you with a grumpy unwelcoming attitude. And their prices are not cheap. The products that they are selling can also be find in a big supermarket like island pacific and seafood city. Hope this store will be closed down. As this is a bad bussiness and after all it seems the old grumpy lady wearing eye glasses was just forcing herself to work there. Showing by her worst customer service.
Yummiest and very friendly.
I stopped in to Island Pacific to pick up Ginataang and Tipas Hopia.
Please skip this business and business owner. Her attitude comes across like she can't be bothered and that she's God's gift to the community. The only reason why I went is because this location is near my mom's home. Because of this woman's attitude, I'll gladly go out of my way to International Market to get Tipas hopia and make my own Ginataang.
If you like a super sweet dessert. You definitely need to buy it here they’re the best. I just wish it’s more sweeter.if you like not so sweet , go for Valero
On June 9, 2024, I visited the Island Pacific Asian Super Market located at the intersection of West Tropicana Avenue and Durango Road in Las Vegas, Nevada, at approximately 3:00 p.m. During my visit, I came across a dedicated section featuring Pampanga Specialty Delicacies within the market. Notably, a Filipino female attendant with long hair was meticulously presenting an array of "Kapampangan Kakanin," traditional Filipino delicacies. Intrigued by the offerings, I purchased two pieces of "Tikoy" for $7.99 and four pieces of "Sticky Rice" wrapped in banana leaf for $5.00.
Upon inspection, I detected an unusual sour odor emanating from one of the "Tikoy" containers, indicating spoilage. It became evident that the food had not been freshly prepared and lacked proper date or shelf life labeling, raising concerns about its safety and quality.
As a result, I promptly sought a refund for the spoiled "Tikoy" upon returning to the store. I detailed the spoiled state of the food to the attendant, emphasizing its damp texture and noticeable sour odor. Additionally, I contacted the main store at 4135 S. Buffalo Dr, Las Vegas, Nevada, at 89147 to report the sale of spoiled food, conveying the details to a male employee, presumably one of the owners. I highlighted that such practices violated SOUTHERN NEVADA HEALTH DISTRICT (SNHD) FOOD REGULATIONS and posed significant health risks, including foodborne illnesses.
Subsequently, I received a call from an individual named Melia, who identified herself as the owner. Despite her attempts to attribute the spoilage to high outdoor temperatures, I expressed my concerns about the deficient food storage practices at the Island Pacific Asian Supermarket. I emphasized that selling spoiled or nearly spoiled food at a discounted rate poses significant risks to consumers and violates the law. I reiterated the importance of compliance with SOUTHERN NEVADA HEALTH DISTRICT (SNHD) FOOD REGULATIONS and stressed the necessity of avoiding the sale of unsuitable food for consumption.
Stopped by for some filipino desserts. Had the kutsinta and a couple of other items. Thank you to the worker for the extra dessert. I personally did not like the kutsinta and the free item. The coconut for the kutsinta seemed old. The other dessert (idk what's it's called) was good. It's like Suman. I'd come back again and try other items.
This place is cozy and clean. The food was good. This is my first time visiting this place, and I ordered Turon, Lumpia, and Chicken Empanada. They were all so delicious, and the owner was very nice. I love this place, and I will definitely come back here.
Delicious!
