Paradise Place Jamaican Cuisine

I love this place so much, I usually order a couple beef patties for me and the people in my office who hasn't tried one and EVERYBODY always asks were I got them from and when is the next time I'll be grabbing more. I appreciate y'all for the love y'all put in y'all food and I appreciate y'all for the craft y'all perfected.

Great food...It would be nice of the lady at the front would smile sometimes. If im spending all of that money at least make me feel like Im appreciated 🤷🏾‍♂️

Went as a part of three. Waited to be seated at the door (like the sign said) no one acknowledged us for almost 10 mins, so i flagged someone down to get service. There was only one table open when we got there and that’s because a couple had left. They only had one server helping a packed restaurant so I understood. I did see what looked like two kitchen staff trying to help up front.

It was a night that they had live music. It was great so it made the long wait to order easier. However, once our food was ordered it came right out. Food was really good.

Atmosphere nonexistent, service wouldn't know bc it looked dead. To make the first impression worse- the only older woman that gave me the order seemed rude and bothered just because we showed up to pick up an order of one of her customers.

No wonder its dead here. Maybe smile more 😀

The food was great. I wish I could take some patties (beef and curry chicken) home. The oxtail wasn't too sweet, the goat was great. The wings were on point. My son killed the rum cake. I wish Callaloo and saltfish were sold all day.

Best Jamaican food in Vegas, food excellent, service excellent, & atmosphere(excellent) although there were on 2 people in the place I went early. I'll be back for Sunday brunch Reggae 🎼🎶🎵💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💜💜💜 thank you to all the ladies working today, especially Ms. Donna🥰

I got the jerk chicken meal and beef patty with coco bread, the food was amazing! Hospitality was great the owner gave my friend a free beef patty because it was her first time eating Jamaican food.

DONT waste ur time or money.

Horrible customer service.
The woman was cold and seemed to really not want to deal with customers at all. Mind you WE were the only customers. (And i see why no one was there now)
Slow service.
We were the only customers and the food took forever. It came out tasted old and dry like it had been sitting all week. The Mac and cheese seemed to have slice cheese melted on top. GROSS. Needless to say we barely touched any of it.
The only thing that was edible was the beef patty.

And on top of it all it was EXPENSIVE dinner for two came out to 100+ dollars.

I recently arrived back in the Vegas area and wanted some jerk chicken. I googled places and read the reviews. I selected this place not realizing I had visited them at their old location and I was not impressed. In any event, I ordered the jerk chicken and I was disappointed again. The chicken tasted like smoked chicken and it was burnt and dry and like before the pieces were very large. The rice and peas was dry and I didn't even try the cabbage. As I mentioned earlier, I didn't realize I had been to this restaurant before until I opened Google to give it a review. I'm not going back for the 3 time strike out and I agree it is totally over priced. I'm more disappointed than the first time I went 3 years ago. 😔

The food was good. I had the oxtail plate but I ordered brown stew chicken. The lady was nice and assumed I was going to order oxtails. When I said brown stew chicken. I’m not sure if it registered because she still brought me oxtail. I had only had oxtail once before as well as the chicken while in Jamaica. So I really couldn’t tell the difference.
It was still good but I guess I’ll have to go back and make sure I get the chicken next time.
She was a little panicky because the price difference but she charged me for the stew chicken price.
