Google building for these people and these people do not take EBT so they lose out on a lot of things because they think they too good to take EBT from the customers that have EBT that won't cakes made they refuse to take EBT from customers ain't nothing wrong with EBT getting a baby cake made so they service is a zero it's not even a one because they not even trying to accommodate the customers that have EBT
They have the best Napoleon in town, always made fresh . The guy is super courteous and helpful, offering suggestions! Always make my stop whenever I'm in town!

I debated long and hard before I posted this review. I’ve been a loyal customer of this bakery for 7 years. My family has ordered a total of 16 cakes during that time. Because of that history, I’ve always trusted the quality and attention to detail, especially from the decorator (Paul) I have only ever worked with. He even remembers all my birthday cakes and says he looks forward to making them yearly.
For my family’s most recent order, we were not informed that he was unavailable due to illness. Had I known, it would have postponed without hesitation. It would’ve never been an issue. Instead, the cake was given to a baker I had never spoken with. The result was a cake with several rushed and noticeable flaws and missing details that had been discussed in advance with the regular baker (Paul). Due to our relationship, I always trust him to remember what we discussed. It has never been a problem for 7 years!
When I reached out privately to express my concerns and ask how the situation could be remedied, the responses I received were dismissive and, frankly, unprofessional. When I pointed out the details missing from the cake that had been discussed, I was responded to very rudely. I pointed out the cracked fondant on the mask where they tried to wet it to stick it back together, the lips being the same color as his cheeks, the eyes being thrown on there and not smoothed, etc. I was told the design was “chef’s choice,”. This is true; however the CHEF whose choices I trusted was not there to make those choices for the cake. Again, the original baker and I had reviewed several reference photos and specific details. Textures, colors, etc. Even something as simple as the banner being blue so it would stand out against the black board wasn’t even done. Instead, they threw a black banner on the black board. It all blended together.
I never requested a refund, yet I was met with unprofessional comments implying I was seeking one. I was also told that he does not “find [himself] willing to further extend [himself]” for future orders. This was beyond surprising to hear and basically a slap in the face after so many years of loyalty. It honestly sounds like a threat to make lackluster cakes in the future! Just to reinforce, he wasn’t even the one to make the cake. So, to make a threat like this after ONE complaint in 7 YEARS and 16 cakes is just disgusting. Insane and extremely unprofessional response from a business. I wish there was a better word because unprofessional doesn’t even cover it.
I understand mistakes happen, especially when someone falls ill unexpectedly, but the way a business handles those mistakes matters. What ultimately led me to leave this review was the tone and unwillingness to acknowledge the issue or work toward a solution. It was a very narcissistic response, as if they can’t take criticism based on obviously rushed work.
This isn’t the experience I’ve had for the past 7 years, but it is the experience I had this time. And unfortunately, this will be the last experience I will have with this business. I hope the bakery takes this feedback seriously. I truly hope they will learn to accept responsibility for sloppy work in order to avoid instances like this in the future so they can keep loyal clients returning.

The worst cake ever. I ordered tiramisu cake for my mother's birthday. NOTHING like tiramisu. VERY poorly done. Just one layer and on the top huge, overweight whipped cream with no flavor. The cake started leaking in the box before I bring it home. I wonder, do they have an idea how tiramisu tastes and looks like. I paid $85 for something that went to the trash and ruined our celebration. Disgusting. I will not buy anything ever again from that place.

I read a lot of great reviews about this place and wanted to try it for myself. I was so disappointed. I got the Napoleon cake slice. The layers were not cream filled or frosted. Nothing. There’s just a thin layer of cream on top of the cake. It was so dry like a I was eating sand. What a waste of money!
Exquisite cake for my daughter’s 13th birthday. The confetti cake flavor was my favorite, and then the red velvet.
Chris was great! The best cake I have ever bought for a birthday. So happy I found this place! Not only was the cake beautiful it tasted even better. Definitely will use Pastry Palace from now on for any special occasion!

My husband & his twin sister celebrated their 50th birthday and we were all happy with the cake ! It was aesthetically pleasing & the taste was great! I have to admit I did not expect much from the cakes taste but it was delicious! The cake was moist & the icing was just right , not too sweet . It was almost like a sponge cake , so light & very tasty . I opted for delivery to the restaurant to ensure we don’t mess up the cake , if we chose to pick it up as it was quite high so I was worried . I’m happy that I got to the restaurant on time and looks just perfect . Chris who helped me with the order was very professional & helpful . He was also very patient with me as I tend to get indecisive on what I want . Highly recommended.

I want to share my recent experience, as it was both disappointing and frustrating.
I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday and asked a friend to pick it up. Unfortunately, the staff gave them the wrong order. I only realized this once the party had already started, when pastries were brought instead of the cake. When I called to explain, I was told that I should know what I pick up. I requested that the correct cake be delivered, as I could not leave the party for a one-hour round trip. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told I was “trying to claim a free product.” Delivery was refused, and I was told the cake would not be available until after 6 pm, even though the party began at 4 pm. I then had to make my own arrangements to have the correct cake picked up.
As if that wasn’t enough, the next day while having a slice of the cake, I found a hair in it. This was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable.
I have always loved your cakes, but this experience felt unprofessional and careless. Sadly, despite enjoying the product itself, I cannot return as a customer after this.

The pastry Palace did an absolutely spectacular job. With only a couple hours notice they put together a fabulous cake for my friends 50th birthday. It tastes just as good as it looked. Everything was amazing thank you
