Patty's tamales are the best tamales I've had in ages possibly ever! Each one is a very nice size and stuffed full of ingredients whether it is the chicken Verde, chicken Roja, pork, or cheese and green chile, they are absolutely delicious. You can tell they are made with love and care. I'm so happy that I turned my head to the right, and saw them far back in the parking lot across the street from Unlv on Maryland Parkway. We made an immediate right and will be back again very soon! Highly recommend!

I had been craving tamales for a few weeks prior to visiting Patty's Tamales. I just wanted tamales and not necessarily a full sit down dining experience. That is where it is nice to have a place like Patty's. You couldn't sit down even if you wanted to. There are no tables or chairs here. It is simply a store with a counter and a kitchen. And they make one type of food - tamales. They have a few different versions but the menu remains small. I ordered two tamales. One red pork and one green chicken. Both are listed as spicy. He gentleman working the store was quick to package them up and send me on my way. I made the mistake of trying to eat one on the road. It was hot and I was hungry. But between the paper wrapper and the corn husk, it was damn near impossible to open one handed. So I just fought the hunger and waited til I got home. I tried the pork first. It was indeed spicy. I didn't really notice it at first. And then the hiccups started. I guess it was spicy after all. It was also very oily. It took a napkin and a half to clean my hands and that was just from trying to open the dang thing. The chicken, by comparison, was a little less spice and much less oily. What I can say for both on a positive note, they both had good flavor. Flavor aside, these tamales seems a bit on the small side. Very flat and kind of dense. By no means the worst I've had but also not the best. I expected more from a place that specializes in just one kind of food. They did the trick, though, and staved off the craving. At least for a little while.

I was in this establishmentThe cleaning letter is a***********? BI am looking for cleanliness for myself and my family. The most important thing is to eat in a clean place for those almost 40 and disappointed.

1 star is for customer service. They are very rude everytime I have to call. One time I called to hear hours because it was a holiday he answered I said oh you're open. He said " I answered the phone didn't i?"Just plain rude. Today I called its Christmas eve he rushed me off the phone and hung up when I was asking a question. I return because tamales are good. They also tell you one price over the phone when you go in its MORE.

I was craving tamales the weekend of Christmas coming up and couldn’t wait for my mama’s tamales. I told my man and he looked up this spot, so we went. We ordered what we wanted and then left, we ate and it was like I was eating my mother’s tamales. Sorry, mom. It was delicious and the spicy salsa was even better! We will definitely be making more trips here. :-)Parking: Decent sized parking.

I could not contact them. The voicemail was full and the bot suggest I leave a text and then forwarded my phone number. No response after over a week.

My company told me to get some tamales from this place we had a patient that raved about it so I went I ordered I ordered 1dozen and then I ordered two of the special tamales. The total prior to taxes was $40ish . Total after taxes was $67 The person that rang me up said that they charge me tax per tamale normally when you order something you get charged per the total order... they seem like they would've been good tamales but my company was not paying $67 for 15 tamales. The gentleman with the veneers was nice when I first paid but when I told him about my jobs issues with the math he was very short fused, which is understandable. I will say 8 o'clock in the morning. The tamales are piping hot and there was no line.. maybe one day I'll be on this side of town and I'll buy one tamale and try it for myself.

Quick take out. All the tamales are tasty and juicy. I love spicy food and these are definitely not lacking. Just a little caution. The red pork might be the most manageable. But I was a fan of the rajas and green chicken.Vegetarian options: Cheese tamalesParking: Plenty of parking and multiple entrance/exitWheelchair accessibility: Available

Honestly.... this place is disappointing. The tamales are dry, spicy and lacking in flavor. I tried them when they first opened, and did again recently to see if it had changed. Which is has not, and there's no heart in these. True tamales have flavor, some spicy/some not, and are NEVER dry or served cold! I would honestly recommend buying street tamales over these any day. I'll never be back, I don't care how bad I'm craving tamales...

Delicious tamales! My personal favorite was Queso con Rajas (cheese with peppers.) They also have beef tamales - which we're not on the menu. Inside is a no frill, no seating store front.

Loved Patty's! Trying to find a new spot now to buy tamales. Patty's used to have a very good sized and was told that they have to make them smaller now, which for the price it's not worth it. When they were bigger and fresher tasting I didn't mind paying $3.75 for each.
