Paymon's Fresh Kitchen and Lounge - Sahara

The meal service and everything was perfect!! My 1st time there but my friends had been before and loved it. I had the Tilapia and it was delicious! Our waitress was so nice even taking our picture for us.

We had a great evening at Paymon's! The restaurant is colorful and quirky and very comfortable. There was a jazz quartet with a fabulous vocalist and they played just loud enough to add great vibes but we still could have a conversation. The menu is extensive with all my favorite Mediterranean foods. The service was great! Highly recommend! .

Great service and great food! Server was very attentive; nice and accommodating to some substitutions we required. Will be back!

The waiter was not friendly at all, the chicken was dry, and the white and yellow rice didn't have much flavor. The waiter seemed annoyed because he made a mistake when charging my card. Nothing extraordinary; there are better places for the same price.

I've been dining at Paymon's for over three decades. I always receive superb meals with 5-star service.

Great service yummy food... the mixed appetizers were delicious. Unfortunately the lamb kabobs was tough, however the waitress compensated us for it, free martini and free desert. We will be back. Love the decor too

We love Paymon's. Has been a favorite for nearly 10 Years. Food is always good, plentiful and reasonably priced. Service always great. Water glass is always full!

JUST TO BE CLEAR I AM NOT INTERESTED IN PERFORMING AT THIS VENUE AGAIN! This is in response to The owners- rude disrespectful and condescending response. I AM BEING HONEST NOT NEGATIVE . I really tried to help him by bringing our show and more musicians to his venue. In return, I got nothing but disrespect.. Paymon also kept my image of my show flyer on the digital billboard outside on the street in front of the restaurant for two months after my show when he ignored discussing upcoming shows and how we could improve the shows. He does not pay bands and if he does it’s slave labor.I have been a long time customer of Paymon’s Restaurant but no more. I am also a singer- songwriter Recording Artist signed to Sony music distribution and have toured and worked with some of the biggest acts in the world BB King Chaka Kahn Jon Cain with Journey-just to name a few and others.. I have been Recording Artist for almost 30 years, but I’ve never experienced such disrespect from a restaurant owner in my life. Recently I did one of my production shows at this establishment in late June 2025. I had to sell tickets to make money to pay the band and my Belly Dancer. As the owner does not pay the bands. We sold many Tix and did very well. However, The owner and his wife were very rude to me throughout the night even though I packed the room, sold a lot of tickets & Got great reviews! We packed the room.. not one table was open. It was a Saturday night and everybody loved the show. We got great reviews from almost everybody that came. . I did use my own mixing board, I had to plug my mixing board into the house board where it caused my tracks to go a little bit lower than normal. However. The sound of the music and my vocals were excellent in the room. It was just hard to hear up on stage at times but overall it sounded fantastic in the room..since my show in June, a lot of local musicians that follow me on Facebook and acquaintances, who are also musicians.. went there to get hired to do shows as well. Months later, I went in there to talk to the owner about the issues he had although he said I could do another show there a month and a half later, when me and my assistant were there, but he was very rude and the staff was rude to me as well so I just decided to never come back because of this. Also his sound guy at the end of the night turned off all the lights on stage so it was hard for us to pack up! RUDE! Their food is good for the most part , but the service is poor and if you do a show there please be aware of these issues! I wish everyone well, but If there is no respect by the establishment owner, then I’m not interested in doing shows there again or ever coming back.After being a long time customer it’s a shame that the owner could not take the time to resolve this with me! As far as this reply below from Paymon the owner, it is prevalent. He does not know about the Entertainment business... all shows could stand room for improvement. However The disrespect I received from him and his wife is not acceptable. So beware to any acts that come through he does not pay the bands and if he does, it will be very low. Beware of how you are treated as well.! I am a professional I’ve been doing this all my life I have toured with some of the biggest acts in the world and always treated with respect! I have no patience for disrespect. Beware!

We used to go to the original Paymons on Maryland for years. We then started going to the Eastern/215 location for years. We were so sad to watch both locations close. This past weekend we decided to make the drive across town specifically to enjoy the food we had eaten for decades. It was a pleasant surprise to see that not only was the atmosphere as enjoyable and relaxing as we recalled, but the food was still absolutely perfect!!

I've been to Paymon's before. It is a consistently great place to eat. I brought a friend here for her first time. She was impressed and thoroughly enjoyed her gyro platter.
