Paymon's Mediterranean Café & Lounge

I"ve been coming to Paymons since the mid-90's. Even when I moved away(first to Seattle and then to Los Angeles) I always made a point to visit this location when I was in town. I'm deeply saddened to hear of its closure. The food was, IS, always fresh and delicious and the outdoor seating area is a peaceful oasis in an incredibly busy/noisy area of the city. Paymon's is a staple. They have been around for ages. This is the original location, and it has transitioned greatly over the years. Back in the day, they used to have a little market filled with groceries from the Mediterranean region. Today, that market has shut down, and recently, this location has closed down their hookah lounge as well. Great dinner for a normal evening in Vegas... coworker and I were nervous when we showed up right before 7 and were the only people in the restaurant, but it soon filled up. I had the chicken kabobs and they were so good - loved the vegetables and they were perfectly charred.
