Big portions, fast service. My beef combo bowl didn't come with much tendon but the flank was really good so I didn't mind.

My grp came in around 10:20 am , got the orders for party of 4, waited for 40 mins even though the restaurant isn’t busy at all. Another 3 big group came in later than us and all of them got their food. Real bad customer service. I asked the one took my order to see if it’s our food done yet, he said yes but kept bringing food to other tables

The server ripped off by adding 18% services charge to the bill. It is just a noodle shop, not even a restaurant. What kind of service you think you deserve 18% tip? For putting our noodles on the table? Never come back.

William was our server and was very hospitable. The restaurant is clean and there is a cute claw machine and cotton candy machine. We ordered combo fried rice, pork vermicelli bowl, and the chicken salad. The bread on my banh mi was nice and crisp, not too hard. The vermicelli bowl was refreshing, and the salad was delicious.

My wife and i checked this place out honestly by default because by the time i got off from work they were the only spot for Pho that was still open.
The place was spacious, well lit, and super tidy. We were greeted pretty immediately and offered to sit wherever we wanted. They have an online menu that you can make orders from which even had little descriptions of each thing when you tapped on them which was cool.
We went with the Pho Dac Biet each, an order of Spring Rolls, a chinese donut, a Banh Mi, and some chicken wings.
To be perfectly honest, i set my expectations low because the visual design, online menu/ordering system, and prices had me bracing for another experience with more focus on presentation than substance that's become a bit too commonplace.
i was wrong.
everything was delicious.
The flavors weren't exactly what i had become accustomed to from other Vietnamese/Pho places, maybe it was more chicken base/flavorings? i'm not 100% sure what the difference was but it was a very pleasant and delicious discovery.
The Dac Biet was a generous portion with a great broth that hit pleasantly different. Again, i'm honestly unsure what it was that tasted off from some of the other places i've been to, but it was different without taking away from how delicious it was. The noodles were great, and there was a generous amount of beef and tendons that never had me chewing at anything for an annoying amount of time.
The Spring Rolls had a strong hit of mint that i personally really liked, and that peanut sauce they serve with it is very nice, super savory.
The Banh Mi had a spread that i couldn't identify in it, my wife initially thought it was egg but it definitely wasn't. The bread had a nice snappy yet bouncy bite and the meat was seasoned or braised in a way that added without taking away from the pickled veggies.
The chicken wings though. One of the biggest gripes i have with any place that serves chicken wings is when they don't season the dry mixture, and i was honestly taken aback with how good they made chicken wings. Super crispy, nicely seasoned dry mixture that deep fried for an awesome bite and the chicken was juicy. They had better wings than some dedicated wing places i've tried. i still don't really know what that sauce they served with it was but i just enjoyed the wings naked with the pickled veggies that came with it.
so i ordered the chinese donuts because i saw it on the menu and was wondering what it was doing there as it's usually served with congee. i was more perplexed because of how good it was (fried, bouncy, and delightfully chewy in a light way) so when i asked the server they pointed out that there actually was a congee on the menu that i somehow missed, so i'll definitely be checking it out next time. IT'S VERY GOOD THOUGH!
we also had the vietnamese coffee and a peach green tea with aloe. both were superb. the vietnamese coffee was great, and they offer some ways to customize it with additions that weren't clear (the menu didn't point out that the options you were picking were additions. the coffee already comes sweetened with creamer, whatever you pick is being added on top of that), but again the coffee itself was great.
that peach green tea with aloe jelly was almost equal to the exact same drink i get from dedicated boba tea places which was surprising.
Was this place the best vietnamese place i've ever had? not exactly. i'm not versed enough with vietnamese places to honestly provide that type of statement. but what i can say is that i'd never hesitate or object to coming back to enjoy a delicious meal.
by the end i didn't even think about anything other than how good the food was tasting, and i don't see
