I would definitely recommend coming here not so close to closing time. We came with another hour before they closed but you can tell that they didn't really want to serve us. We did have a bigger table, about 12 of us. The whole restaurant had tables that were all dirty and not cleaned. They had to quickly clean a table for us. Did not bring enough utensils or plates. We ordered a snail dish with ginger and lemongrass (Oc Huong) which was delicious if you like snails Green mango with shrimp was pretty taste so we ordered 2 of those. We did two lau, a catfish sour (canh chua) hot pot soup and mushroom with seafood. They forgot to bring out the veggies for the sour one until we asked. No rice either. Ordered the caramelized fish to go with canh chua. Overall great food, poor service. I found out there's other locations in Vegas so when we go back will have to try a different location.

I loved this place! I was craving coconut snails so I stumbled upon this spot on yelp. I was a little skeptical about the cleanliness since I read there was an off putting smell when you walk in or in the bathroom but I didn't smell anything bad at all. Service was awesome. There was a lady and a man who took turns serving us. She was great at recommending what was popular. One thing she recommended was the grilled sea snails with black pepper and OMG it was hands down the best thing we ordered. So good we got a second serving. The thing I went for was the coconut snails and it ended up being my least favorite. It was just so hard to eat. The meat was just stuck in the shell and it was all inedible.Other dishes we got were the clams Thai style and the hot pot. The clams were served in a delicious broth very close to Tom yum but a tad on the sweeter side. Overall it was a meal that totally hit the spot. I plan on taking my parents when they visit. My only complaint was the music was super loud.

OMG absolutely delicious. I don't typically eat snail and other shell fish but this place make them so incredibly delicious.I never care for abalone until I had their grilled abalone with the green sauce. So amazingly good. Nice flavor with a good lunch. The hot pot is yummy as well but the abalone was for sure a highlight. We got the fermented fish hot pot.Environment is very nice and clean. Hostess is very friendly as well.

Stopped here on one of our dinners to try something different. Upon walking in, we were hit with the smell of durian. I actually like durian but some of my group did not, so I am mentioning it to let the owners know because it is a strong smell that not everyone can handle. The place was very bright and had a lot of Vietnamese style tapas drinking dishes. My personal favorite dishes were the coconut snails and the mango salad with dried shrimp. The balut in tamarind sauce was ok-- I have had better. The Thai hot pot was also OK. Our favorite grilled crustacean was the Oc Canada. It had a mild taste and was easy to get out of it's shell. We also ordered fried frog legs and it never came out and had tossed the receipt, so unsure if we were charged or not. Parking was ample and location was easy to find - about 10 mins from the strip. Overall, decent place to try out but would probably only stick with the favorites.

Oc is not very fresh and too much seasoning. A bit overpriced, even compared to the Bay area

Lau and Oc, best known for their hotpot (lau) and escargot (oc). Escargot is not my cup of tea so I did not try it, but my girlfriends absolutely loved it and said the garlic & butter sauce was bomb. The Crispy Fried Frog Legs were delish though!

I’m surprised that Lau and Oc exists in Las Vegas because it’s not that easy to find a place that has a variety of seafood and traditional vietnamese hotpot. The atmosphere is good, very Vietnamese…The waiters are so friendly and nice. Overall, service is goodBut when it comes to food, I just think it’s ok for the price and quantity. It could be fun to eat these to feel less homesick but it’s not as good as the food I ate in Vietnam.

I came to eat at 'Lau and Oc' with my family. We ordered two dishes: Oc mong tay and Grilled Canada spotted snails. Both of those arrived within 3 minutes after ordering which was concerning. Starting off with the Oc mong tay: It smelt very old and stinky. It smelled like the Oc was dead ten years ago. Secondly the Grilled Canada spotted snails: It tasted pretty good. Overall my experience was horrible. This restaurant is clean but the food isn't up to par. There were barely any customers when I walked in which was a red flag from the start. They could improve on the quality of the food instead of rushing customers orders.

10/10 would recommend. I can't speak for all dishes on the menu. However, the Thai lau was really tasty! The vegetables are fresh, plenty. We accidentally ordered a side of rau muon for the lau and it was a whole plate full! The seafood was really good too! Grilled green mussels were delicious. The coconut oc was wonderful! We also ordered the Canada oc and it was good, slightly chewy, but overall it was a great experience. All sauces are in to go containers (COVID friendly) and chopsticks are single use.

Tiệm sạch sẽ . Đồ ăn lên nhanh . Tiếp viên niềm nở . Lẩu thái nước soup thì không ngon . Ngoài ra thì các món ăn khác rất tươi và nóng . Sẽ trở lại lần sau .

Food pretty good, but atmosphere smells funny. Staff is extremely friendly. They put white paper on their table which is interesting

My family and I we decided to try Lau and Oc Restaurant for lunch. My initial impression of the restaurant is that it has some strange scents. The waiter sat us at a dirty table with dirty dishes and a dirty tea cup... When I ask the waiter to remove the dirty dishes and tea cup, he doesn't appear happy... We order the Pho, Chicken Pho, House Special Fried Rice and Spotted Snails from Vietnam. Although the Pho has a good flavor, the House Special Fried Rice is salty, not so good and the Vietnam Spotted Snails are too rubbery, and hard. $19.99 for only 5 snails so expensive and not worth it. I washed my hands in the men's washroom, but the odors were so strong that I had to leave right away. Overall, not a pleasant experience... Sorry...

Delicious food. It has authentic hotpot (lau) and escargot (oc) that you can't find anywhere else near the Vegas Strip. The lau mam was excellent and so flavorful. The oc was so tasty and fresh. Service was great and so friendly. Had a fabulous time, would highly recommend. Very fun vibe!
