As a thriller and romance author who spends time at Author conventions in Las Vegas, I love musical escapes. I also come here for inspiration for my piano, guitar, and violin YouTube channels.
The dueling piano bar at Harrah’s Casino on the Las Vegas Strip is one of those places that never slows down. I stopped by around 11 p.m. after a long week at the Author Nation conference. As a thriller author and a pianist myself, I wanted to check out how the pros do it. I’m working on building my violin and piano channel and I wanted to see how these guys operate.
Seeing how they use lead sheets to keep their performance going, that gives me some great inspiration and hope that I’ll be able to make my own cool music videos in the future.
It’s amazing to watch how they use lead sheets to play nearly any song people request. The way they swap out pianists between sets keeps the energy rolling, and they work the crowd perfectly. People throw tips, shout out songs, and the place turns into a live-action jukebox.
The bar sits right off the sidewalk, so it’s easy to find, but getting a seat is tough because it’s always packed. The crowd is loud, fun, and all-in. Forget about parking unless you’re staying nearby or already walking the Strip.
I’ve been here a few times, and it’s always the same. It’s nonstop energy and great music. I just had to write this because I genuinely appreciate the musicians’ skill. They keep the crowd locked in, and they make it look effortless. I honestly aspire to be this good one day. Kudos to the performers they keep it going.

Tables were dirty, there was not enough seating, and the waitress gave my credit card to somebody else without my permission and then told me to get it from them. Them. Not to mention three beers were $45. Shame on you. Harrah's that's an 1100% markup on what you can buy beer in the grocery store. So guess what. You've lost my business for good.

Great entertainment 👌🏾
Music is awesome and this could be a very busy bar but their prices for drinks, even for Vegas are crazy high!! $19.50 for a mixed drink is unreal. People would likely buy more if it wasn't so expensive, I expect to pay more for drinks but this amount is completely unnecessary. The drinks are in the pictures.

The Twins Dueling Piano Show is so fun!!!
Barman's attitude absolutely stank, didn't seem happy at the cheek of us asking for drinks when he was taking football with his buddies.
Add to the fact that Big Elvis wasn't on either.

$42 for 3 bottles of Ultra...... How they do it in the middle of the day and no entertainment.
To bad I had to give one star.
