Picanta Mexican Kitchen

This place is amazing. We ordered Chile relleno and added shrimp, and the cielo mar y tierra. Everything was so delicious. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor and the Chile relleno was so great. The sauce, cheese and everything it came with was just so delicious and it is now our favorite Mexican spot! We can not wait to try this place again for breakfast!!

Absolutely an amazing restaurant the food was so delicious. Had the stuffed cheese suizos chilaquiles to the next level. Ruben & Cande are amazing persons very attentive people. Will be going be for sure.

The food and drinks were really good and authentic. I was with a party of 5 guests, and while it was busy, the host immediately took our information down, and the wait was short. It was definitely worth the wait, and I'll return pretty soon.

While visiting from out of town and searching for authentic Mexican food and some good drinks, this place has it all. I would definitely recommended to my friends and family. I will return upon my next visit.

I come in almost every other week and I love this place! The food is amazing has great flavor, I always get the birria tacos or the enchiladas and they never disappoint. The drinks are delicious. I love the carajillo one of my favorite drinks for sure. The ambiance is very welcoming and I love how open the space is. All the workers are very welcoming! Definitely recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant! Can’t miss out

I don’t really give 3 stars or lower rating but a couple of factors made me feel to give the 3 stars.
Food servings are very small and foods looks good in appearance but the small servings and founding chicken bones in my mole enchiladas and enchiladas suizas made my food experience not to be good.
Service was below average, during my entire visit, waitress never came to check on us to refill drinks or table touching.
Atmosphere of the restaurant; music very loud (and I love music) but it was very loud for a family restaurant. Building is not in the best shape, holes in walls and electric outlets, dusty vents and more things that need attention from owner or Management.
I was really hoping to try their dessert but after more than 20 minutes waiting for them, I had to cancel them since not sure how long more I had to wait for them.
I might give them a second chance but I will try other new places in my personal list when it comes to authentic Mexican food in Las Vegas.

MID!!! 20 for a sad no flavor burrito and the meat tastes like it was cooked with water! Enchiladas has too much chicken fat not enjoyable, if they were to spend more time on food then the bar, this place would be Top tier, but honestly you’re better off going to Roberto’s to get “Authentic” Mexican food….honestly my son got a better plate then me….music is very loud hard to have a conversation..Desert waited too long we didn’t even get it so when asked if it was ready they said they haven’t even started making it after waiting 20 min….

I really wanted to like this cute restaurant. The decor and vibe are modern and upscale. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. Everything was plated nicely but lacked flavor. The esquito had too much water and diluted all the flavor. There was no heat in the enchiladas and the rice and beans were bland.Servers didn't come back to check on us after the food was served. Maybe I'll give their breakfast a try and see if it's any better.

I understand that Picanta is newer and likely still finding its footing, but my recent experience was frustrating from start to finish. There was no one managing the front of the house, which led to complete disarray as guests waited to be seated. There was no clear system for taking names or honoring arrival order, and many guests, myself included, were skipped or left waiting with no communication.

The staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly annoyed when approached with questions. I get that they’re busy, but the attitude made an already chaotic experience feel even more unpleasant. We waited far too long both to be seated and then again for the food to arrive.

Unfortunately, when the food finally came, it didn’t make up for the poor service. It was just okay — not bad, but definitely not worth the extended wait or the disorganized atmosphere.

Picanta may have potential, but they seriously need to staff up, train their team, and implement a better system for managing guests if they want to keep up with demand.

Horrible atmosphere, we came here today July 13, and the servers did not approach nobody! They walked in front of the line of people waiting, and not once talked to us! Son burros! It was moment for us to get along with strangers😂 the servers were extremely rude, and the young lady even gave a nasty look at the people waiting to get inside! This restaurant is ridiculous, they were clearly unprepared with only two servers with no customer service. They both looked visibly disgusted.
