Today, I went to store number 12229 at 4950 W. Flamingo road. I ordered 5 chicken pieces in total with 2 biscuits. The lady at the window gave me 5 wings and no biscuits. I generally don't check food, but this time, I did. I went back and showed her the receipt and handed over the wings that I ordered. She did not bother to apologize for giving me the wrong order and missing on biscuits. She gave me a second box with chicken and a biscuit. I went out and again checked. Out of 5, only 3 pieces were given. I again went back and made her count the pieces. Still no apology or regret. Just handed over a box again with 5 pieces.

The manager was leased bothered. Horrible experience and ended up more than 45 minutes to get my order right.

I’d give zero if I could. Chicken is dry, service unwelcomed, and food taste old.

I do not recommend this location until they get new staff.

The biggest thing to me that became very apparent immediately upon entering this location was the smell. I loved what wonderful aroma the building has! I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the design. It seemed cute and mildly classy. The service was very decent and polite, they were well trained. I actually really enjoyed the overall experience... but as a purple elephant in the room... The food... I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken strips deal. It sounded so good, I was excited to see what they had! The caring server prepared the strips right in front of me and my spouse offered some dipping sauce and she asked some very valuable and appropriate questions and politely offered that I have a nice day. I certainly expected to... The seating and table areas were mostly clean, I only noticed a few extra missed chicken breading crumbs on the table from the previous guest but that was no issue to me . I simply brushed them off and sat down to eat. Upon opening the big chicken box with the blatant spicy chicken tag stuck to it... I was sorely disappointed to find that the three pieces of chicken looked like they had been through a blender while they were being cooked. The breading barely covered them and the strips were so thin and old I thought I must have stepped into a homeless handout center! I went ahead and opened my dipping sauce, I got the burnt Ranch sauce (which by the way is excellent). Thank god for the sauce, the strips were downright awful, They clearly had no decent flavor and the breading fell off in large clumps. The stringy chicken center looked like a beef jerky stick that had been microwaved way past time and they had absolutely ZERO spiciness whatsoever! In shock, I tried one without the dip and immediately regretted every bite. I was super hungry though as I had just gotten out of the hospital and I couldn't help but eat them all (praise the dip). Without that dip my suffering would have been deeply intolerable. As it is, I had a stomach ache all day after that and mild diarrhea. Suffice it to say, I refuse to ever eat at any other Popeyes chicken... this was absolutely a single experience I will never repeat. If it wasn't for such a great atmosphere and people, I would have easily given a single star rating. My opinion is that this place is easily worth avoiding.

I don’t come here often because i know exactly what i’m getting into every time. But i continue to give this place a chance because it’s so close to my apartment. I’d estimate i’ve been here maybe 7-8 times in the past year.

Without fail, I will find stuck in the drive thru for a minimum of 15 minutes every time i choose to come here. Today it is an upwards of almost 25 minutes (and counting). I’m always forced to wait at the ordering speaker for at least 5+ minutes, and then the true battle begins as i wait for the folks in front in front of me before waiting for my own food.

First few times i chalked it up to mere coincidence but as it continued to happen I realized that this is a regular occurrence at this location. Not to mention they’re always out of SOMETHING, whether it be a food or beverage item. I am literally writing this as i wait in front of the window for payment. And i have so much time to elaborate and fix all of my errors.

Idk what needs to be done to fix this, i iust want to say this is absolutely insane.

I super irritated with this damn store. They're always leaving something out of my order one time it was my french fries and another was my apple pie. I waited 20 minutes for them to fry some chicken, I asked if I could have thighs and they said no even though ice done this several times at this location and several others, but I still waited for them for them.to end up giving me a breast 2 wings and 2 legs.Even though the picture shows 2 thighs 2 legs and a wing. I don't eat white meat which is why I asked for the thighs. I keep trying to call but the phone keeps hanging up! I want my refund because I'm not eating this dry ass chicken.

My experience with this Popeyes location on South Decatur Blvd/Flamingo was a disappointment! I didn't want to write this bad review but I need to let people know. The customer service is horrible! They need to hire friendly people with good customer service skills and attitudes representing this company. That lady in the drive thru named Lorinda had none of them attributes at all! She needs to be retrained or find another job! I rate this review no stars, but had to hit a star in order to submit my review.

As we left we told the people coming in that they should turn around and leave. I would suggest the same to you -- just go some place else...this is not where you want to eat!

Worst Popeyes I have ever been to - and my daughter and her friend both agree. The store and bathrooms were not clean, the food took way to long to get to us and when it did they did not even give us the correct items.
1 - we walked in the door and went to the bathrooms to wash our hands...but the woman working there angrily pointed at the sign on the door and said just wait a second, these are only for customers. She unlocked them, but that was strange.
2 - when ordering I was asked if I wanted to add a drink for $1 more and I yes please. Then when reviewing the order she did not say my drink so I asked her to add it...and she said Oh so you do want a drink.
3 - we ordered the 3 piece chicken strip meal with 2 sides. The fries were not warm and we ordered mac & cheese for the other side. After waiting for the food for over 10 mins the same rude woman called out my name and said it would be 7 mins more for the mac & cheese. I said that was fine, we would just eat the other food and get the mac & cheese when it was ready. But she never gave it to us and honestly we were too nervous to ask her and possibly get yelled at by her for a third time. She did put in a gravy and mashed potatoes which we did not order.

Make the mistake of buying a comb charge 5 extra dollars for a small Coke and a French fry which was only half filled. The Chicken Sandwich was great. You would have received a 5 star review. But for some reason you feel the need to rip-off your customers and only fill up their French fries halfway, makes no sense. I will think twice before I come back here again. Plenty of other chicken places nearby.
