We happened to arrive first in to a small rush of people. We lined up for ice cream. My daughter ordered fist, then my son ordered a banana split,he didn't notice she was calling him over to the toppings' side when she got done building his order due to the buss of people moving trough the yogurt line and arriving at the register, since he'd already took a few seconds to realize she was ready for him to add the toppings and he looked at the options for another few seconds she decided to tell him "come on you've got to hurry it up I have a line building up behind you." Excuse me if I say It is not my 10 year old son's responsibility to worry about your line. I would have been perfectly happy with waiting for you to take care of the next person while my son makes his selections. I have worked food service before and never have I considered saying this to a person let alone a child. Please learn to manage your lines and communicate better.

This place is amazing! We moved to Mountains edge 4 years ago and this is our go to place. The customer service is amazing no matter who we get but Ashley is the best of the best! Talk about the sweetest and kindest person. She always ensures our kids are taken care of and serves up the best customer service. We love poppy’s!

Our go to when we want to stock up on Thrifty's ice cream, one of only a handful of places to buy it in LasVegas. The prices are great. The staff are all awesome and friendly and they even remember me when I come in.

However, our confidence wavers when utilizing Doordash for delivery, as we have encountered instances of receiving incorrect orders multiple times.Upon a recent mishap, I highlighted the need for additional training for the staff. To my surprise, the owner, Jon, promptly reached out to me via Yelp. He assured me that extra training had been provided to the staff member involved. Jon went above and beyond, extending an invitation for us to return and generously offering two sundaes as a gesture of goodwill. I communicated to Jon that our intention in writing the review was not to seek free items, but rather to address the recurring issue of incorrect orders through Doordash. Jon emphasized that it was fair for us to receive the correct items we had ordered.During our return visit to the store, the staff member responsible for the Doordash order apologized and explained that he was new. Ashley, the store manager, exceeded our expectations in addressing the situation. Despite the occasional hiccup with Doordash orders, all staff members consistently display professionalism and courtesy. With the additional training provided, we hope there will be a more thorough double-check of Doordash orders before handing them over to dashers. The ambiance at this establishment always seems to be family-friendly, which is always a good sign.Supporting local businesses is important to us, and Jon's genuine concern for his business is evident. Our family is deeply impressed by his thoughtful gesture, which speaks volumes about the business's commitment to customer satisfaction. My nieces & I love Poppy’s! Ashley at the counter is always an absolute delight and super kid-friendly! She goes out of her way to speak directly with my young nieces and patiently answers all their questions. I am thrilled whenever we see her working at the counter. So it was shocking the other evening to hear an awful Karen going off on her. This customer had 2 tween age kids who were adding toppings to their cups and eating them without 1st paying. The frozen yogurt & topping are charged by weight. Both kids were old enough to know this was not an all-you-can-eat buffet. But when Ashley gently asked the kids to place them on the scale before eating, their mom began throwing a fit.Screaming, “I don’t like your tone,” & “How dare you talk to my kids like that”! Ashley tried to explain when Karen cut her off, asking why do you even care? Politely, Ashley pointed out the cameras, explaining the owners watch the cameras & she didn’t want to get in trouble. I couldn’t believe my ears when, before leaving, “Mom Karen” responded, “It’s not like they watch the cameras 24/7”. (WHAT!!!! I thought to myself)Thankfully, it became an excellent teaching moment for my 3 elementary-age nieces. As we enjoyed our ice cream, we discussed how stealing is still stealing regardless of whether someone is watching. Even if an adult behaves badly, it doesn’t mean the behavior is acceptable & the importance of treating people with kindness & respect. Out of the mouth of babes- the best laugh of the evening came when my 5-year-old said, “Someone needs to put that mommy in the time-out corner.” I couldn’t agree more!!! Miss Ashley, know your honesty, customer service, and compassion are appreciated!!!

3:50pm Tuesday November 7th, 2023Came in with my kids for ice cream after school. Greeted by a polite young gentleman as soon as you walk in only for your experience to be ruined by a rude lady behind the counter. My kids picked at their frozen yogurt cups before we paid, and the lady freaked out and raised her voice on my kids because it was going to get her in huge trouble with her boss she said because it was going to affect the price of the cup. They barely picked anything from their cups. Our total came out to $30 in the end which was still steep considering my kids had filled their cups to the brim and them barely picking at the toppings didn’t budge the price at all. She said her boss John was watching 24/7 thru the cameras so he’d be aware that my kids removed barely anything from their cups.Right after I left some customers were walking out and they made a comment about how unprofessional she was because she started making nasty comments about me after I walked out of the shop for standing up for my kids.

I love cookies and cream ice cream cake and let me tell ya… They have the absolute BEST cookies and cream ice cream cake I have EVER tasted in my 37 years of life. Highly recommended!

I am giving this business a low rating because Poppy's continues to ignore its other customers. I was informed that the owners removed all peanut toppings and peanut related products because of one customer's demands to remove them. Poppy's, your other customers would enjoy their experience fully if you bring those toppings and products back. So, for those reading this, you'd be better served going to Cold Stone or another frozen yogurt shop knowing you can get the full experience your looking for. Poppy's, stop catering to a few and ignoring the rest of your customers. Bring back the full variety of toppings (peanuts, Reese's, etc)
