This location of Port of Subs is amazing! Cynthia and her team have everything nailed down to a science. The food is fresh, tasty, and a decent value in our new inflation- adjusted reality. We love them so much that we use them for store-wide events in which we provide lunch for all of our associates, which is currently 135+. The service we get for these events is just as terrific as I get going by myself.

Everything was good customer service was on point. Only thing was that the it wasn’t really clean, I’ve been to this same location and it was clean before so I’m thinking it was just the crew. The blade had all the specs of food from the whole day not cleaned at all and was making a noise like it was grinding on something. Sandwich wasn’t toasted from what the time was set at maybe was in got 20 seconds if that.

Horrible experience all around. No oil or vinegar on my pastrami, it was completely soaked bread because the lady did not drain the pastrami before throwing it on the bread. My husband brought it back to the counter and instead of taking care of it right away she said she didn’t know if she had to charge us again. She then proceeded to argue that it wouldn’t be any different if she remade it. I explained that each time we have the sandwich made that the grease is drained, not just thrown on the bread. After being quite rude to my husband they finally remade the sandwich, and surprise, it wasn’t soggy because they actually drained the grease this time. Look, nobody is perfect and sometimes you need to redo something to get it right. The big problem here is the extreme lack of customer courtesy. Rudeness came from the manager so I see why staff was equally unpleasant. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Port O Subs on Ft Apache and Sunset rather than deal with the poor food preparation and lack of customer service here.

Oof usually an ok visit but today was bad. If "Jessica" is there you might want to go to another place for food that day. The attitude she gives off will and does spoil your food. The manager has no control over her. Very unpleasant experience.

Sage is the greatest. Her genuine smile and friendliness are truly one of a kind. From the moment my daughter and I walked through that door we had her attention she greeted us acknowledged us and apologized for the wait because there were a couple of customers before us. I thanked her for her kind and courteous service and tipped her accordingly. I will go back again and again because of Sage. Thank you.

Tips From A Bellman

I think this is the first time I have been to this location or it has been a very long time. I came in on Saturday Aug 5 at 7pm. The location closer to me had already closed so that is why I came here. The place was very clean and the young lady working was actually cleaning the slicer when I walked in the door. I told her how my son years ago worked for the deli at Smith's and constantly had to clean the slicers.Anyway , the young lady was very pleasant and attentive to my order. I didn't get her name , but it says on the receipt Saliem . She was very meticulous with making the sandwiches which I found great considering how so many workers these days will just slap your food together even in front of the customer with no care in the world. I wish I would have taken pictures of our sandwiches which I would normally do , but I hadn't eaten all day and was starving , so I just dug in. There was a guy in the back that came out later , so not sure if that was his name on the receipt. When he came out he wasn't too happy and I was glad I had her helping me rather than him.I have been coming to Port of Subs for years for the cold sandwiches. I go to other sandwich stores for the hot sandwiches. I haven't been to a Subway in years since I think the quality of the meats at Port of Subs are far better and everything is sliced fresh. I tried Jersey Mike's and Firehouse Subs and have never been back to either one. Over the years I have been to at least 7 different locations and never had a problem with any of my sandwiches. The location on West Flamingo and Jones I remember wouldn't take corporate coupons I guess since they were a franchisee they had the option according to the coupons , so I only went there like twice and I think it is now perminately closed.
