WOW! Where do I even begin. We were really looking forward to a great steak dinner and chose Prime since we were staying at the Bellagio. From the moment we arrived, things started off beautifully. We were greeted with warm smiles and seated immediately. The space itself is stunning, elevated, elegant, and exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly due to the service. Our waiter was shockingly inattentive and disengaged, and his assistant (the busser) was even worse. He appeared visibly annoyed while serving water and delivering food, which made the entire interaction uncomfortable. Our waiter would stop by the table, ask a question without making eye contact, then abruptly excuse himself. We felt rushed throughout the meal, as if our presence was an inconvenience rather than valued. The service was exceptionally poor, and the fact that both individuals shared the same dismissive attitude speaks volumes about management and overall standards. To make matters worse, at checkout the waiter suddenly appeared with a wide smile and the payment device, leaned in, and essentially selected the gratuity himself, making sure a 20% tip was applied. While I absolutely believe in tipping 20% or more when service merits it, it would have been nice to receive even a basic level of courtesy and professionalism that aligns with a restaurant of this reputation. This experience was incredibly disappointing and left a bitter taste that overshadowed what should have been a memorable evening. Sadly, it's safe to say we would not return.
We had a wonderful experience at Prime. The bill was pricey, but worth it for a splurge evening. The food was delicious and the service outstanding! Lisa and Mario - ourservers - were great!
Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio offers excellent food and top-tier service. The ribeye was fantastic -cooked to perfection, and the coconut pie dessert was absolutely epic. Unfortunately, the experience ended on an awkward note due to the rigid enforcement of the two-hour dining limit. While we were waiting for a take-out box, the manager stood nearby and made it very clear we were expected to leave immediately. The behavior felt uncomfortable and unnecessary, particularly considering the size of our bill. Amazing food and a strong service team, but the ending detracted from what should have been a flawless experience.
Good sides, very much mid steak. You'd expect much more from a medium rare Wagyu ribeye than a chewy piece of beef with not much flavor and a severe lack of marbling. Go for the view, not for the food.
Food was AMAZING, it was the most expensive meal we've ever had for four. With that said, we definitely felt a sense of hurry after we didn't "add on" lobster, crab legs and the like. At first we were asked if we had any time restrictions and then once we ordered (less than they preferred it felt) the food came so quickly it was shocking it could have been cooked so quick. We didn't order $300-$700 cuts of meat - which must be the norm for the restaurant. We ordered filet mignon and several sides and a really nice bottle of Caymus wine. Had we not felt so hurried it might have been the best meal of all time for my 50th birthday.
Prime remains our favorite place on the Vegas Strip for special & relaxing Dinners with Friends & Family. The restaurant has an impressive setting & yet, the elegant & efficient service is not at all stuffy. All Staff - from Front Reception - to service Team on floor are unfailing courteous, warm, welcoming. Kudo to GM & Prime associates!

Booked to celebrate two special family birthdays whilst in Vegas. We were aware it would be eye-wateringly expensive when we booked, but a one off experience. When booking, requested a table out in the patio because of our special occasion. We were well looked after by two members of staff and forewarned that side dishes would feed more than one person. The wine list was more expensive than suited us, so ordered cocktails. Lobster cob salad for two was lovely, plenty of lobster. French onion soup was amazing. Granddaughter’s starter arrived within a clear cupboard which gave us a surprise, something which will be a memory none of us will ever forget. The steaks were sumptuous. Being on the patio with the fountains going off on a regular basis was superb. Grandma will be regaling people anyone and everyone with our experience. Now we just have to go out and get a small mortgage to cover the bill.
An unbelievable dining experience

My partner and I came to Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio to celebrate our anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, the entire experience was seamless. Even on a packed night on the patio, Sheyla at the host stand went above and beyond to take care of us. They accommodate us with a patio table overlooking the fountains something we didn’t expect given how busy it was. That set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Once seated, we were greeted by our servers Dougie and Eric, and I cannot say enough good things about them. Their teamwork, timing, and attention to detail were flawless. Dougie especially made us feel taken care of, he was personable, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does.
The standout of the night was the Kuro Ribeye topped with foie gras, which Dougie recommended. Hands down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Rich, buttery, perfectly cooked a dish, it was amazing. The sommelier also guided us toward a fantastic wine pairing that complemented the meal beautifully.
The passion fruit cheese cake Eric and Dougie brought out to us for our anniversary was very thoughtful !
From start to finish, this dinner was everything an anniversary night should be: special and memorable. Huge thank you to Dougie, Eric, and the entire Prime team for making our night unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be returning and recommending this place to everyone we know

You come here for the view. If you’re not on the patio, don’t bother. Very subpar (yet staggeringly expensive) food easily bested by even the average casino restaurants. If you want a good meal; look elsewhere. If you want a very unique experience, book on the patio. But allow 2-2.5 hours as service is consistently slow here. We paid $500 for dinner for two with no drinks.

We had high hopes for Prime, expecting it to be the perfect venue to celebrate our daughter's birthday and Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of our expectations. The service was lacking; our waiter was a bit rude, and the food was not only overpriced but also excessively salty. To top off our disappointment, despite informing them about our daughter's birthday during both the reservation and check-in, they didn't acknowledge it or make any effort to make the day special. It was truly frustrating and disheartening. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
