Outstanding meal and first impression! Food and service were on point. Look forward to coming back.
Looks fancy, feels fancy, but food and service aren’t fancy. We had a reservation for 5pm and were some of the first guests there. They had an army of staff and we ordered within 10 min of being seated but weren’t served until 6pm while others who arrived after us were served. They also charge $15 for bread? To say the least, I would not recommend. There are so many better steakhouses in Vegas.

Wasn't as good as I expected. Filet was tough and over seasoned.

Rare Society is outstanding. Every menu item we tried was excellent. The au gratin potatoes are hands down the best we’ve ever had, and the grilled artichoke is incredible. Steaks were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. This is officially our new favorite steakhouse in Vegas. To top it off, we met the manager Jared—exceptional customer service, probably the best I’ve experienced in years. Highly recommend.

I don’t know why this place only has 4.2 stars overall I thought it was amazing. It’s pricey, but the food is so good! Liz was our server and she made the evening really special by recommending her favorites and we loved everything we got. I especially loved the Parker house rolls with truffle butter and the pork belly appetizer was beyond delicious. The broiled oysters with Yuzu sauce were probably a 7 out of 10, but everything else was pretty much 9 or 10 out of 10. We got a platter that had all kinds of cuts of meat and different sauces and also the lamb lollipops and the very rich truffle scallop potatoes. They have a great wine list and incredible desserts. This place is a must go to for locals and tourists alike. Located at the Commons parking was super easy and they give you two hours for free.

Phenomenal steak house! Very well priced and great cuts of meat. The wife and I have been to the San Diego location and were excited when they announced the Las Vegas location! Restaurant is stunning and elegant inside, staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Exactly up to par with their OG San Diego location. Would highly recommend the Ribeye, asparagus, truffle Au gratin potatoes, and of course….the foster cheese cake. We will 100% be eating here again in the future.

Foot Safety Concerns
Date of 3/25
I chose Rare Society expecting the upscale, refined steakhouse experience it promises—premium dry-aged cuts grilled over open flame, classic cocktails, and top-tier service in a modern homage to vintage Vegas dining.
Unfortunately, the reality was the complete opposite, and it left me deeply concerned about food safety.
We were seated directly in front of the open kitchen However, this prime view turned into a front-row seat to some very troubling behavior.
Throughout the evening, I watched the chef text on his phone with bare hands a few times. Then exit the kitchen—touching the door to step outside, then return and continue handling food without washing his hands. I observed rubbing his face and mouth, then immediately going back to plating and touching cooked steaks and other dishes with bare hands. This happened multiple times, even after plating orders.
Concerned for our health (and everyone else’s), I discreetly called the manager over and reported exactly what I’d seen. He said he would speak to the chef, and I did observe them talking briefly. I hoped that would resolve it—surely a high-end spot would take food safety seriously.
To my shock, the chef continued the exact same practices afterward: bare-hand contact with ready-to-eat food, no handwashing in sight.
For a restaurant positioning itself as an elevated, premium steakhouse (with prices to match), this was unacceptable. Basic food handling standards—especially hand hygiene—are non-negotiable, particularly when customers can see everything happening in an open kitchen.
The food itself may be excellent for some (I’ve heard positive things about the steaks), but I couldn’t bring myself to eat much after witnessing this. We paid for our drink and appetizers and then left feeling uneasy and disappointed.
I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend the management prioritize proper hygiene training and enforcement. Food safety should never be compromised, no matter how stylish the vibe.
Would not recommend until these serious issues are addressed.

Great steakhouse in a new strip mall/living area. Right across from Durango Station.
This is fine dining. We enjoyed everything we ordered from the appetizers, to steak to dessert.
100% will be back for another great date night at RS

We came here to celebrate a 60th birthday for my father in law. The atmosphere and ambiance worked well for the space. Our waitress Vanessa was very attentive and went over the menu making sure we knew what were must haves. The Parker rolls were warm and fluffy and the crudo were perfect starters. The steaks and the salmon were cooked to our liking and the side dishes did not disappoint. The miso carrots are a must try. Bonus points for having two changing tables in the bathrooms so i could change my son and my wife didn’t feel like she had to.

Mixed bag here. Decor and bar program are impressive and fresh, different from other places I've been in Vegas and well-executed. Service was attentive and friendly. Our meal came out slowly but I suspect it was due to the kitchen and not our waiter, who checked in regularly and made good recommendations. Nice non-alcoholic options, too.
Hamachi crudo and broccolini were quite nice. The rest of the food was unfortunately a letdown. We were told the chef recommended our steaks medium and that's how we ordered them, but they arrived so bloody that the blood spilled onto the table before we even touched the platter. The table next to us had the same problem and sent theirs back. I'm simply not brave enough to send food back on my first visit to a restaurant.
Serving tri-tip alongside Denver and filet is a bold choice that I was excited about; I cook a Santa Maria style tri-tip a couple of times a year and really love the cut, and Rare Society claims to be heavily Santa Maria influenced. Simply throwing a small piece of tri-tip on the grill and treating it as a steak does not do service to the tradition of this dish. Though I did appreciate the salsa, it could have been fresher.
The onion rings are unbearably vinegary. Picked onion rings sounds inventive and fun, but the malt vinegar nearly choked me (and I LIKE vinegar).
For 2/3 of what I paid for this meal, I wouldn't even complain - but at $150 for ~22oz of steak, I expect the chef to use a meat thermometer.
Hope to see improvement here, the atmosphere is truly great and this could be a regular spot for me, but I'm not sure I'll rush back any time soon.

Rare Society Steak House at The Uncommons was, without question, the best meal I’ve had in years. Every course was thoughtful and beautifully executed.
The service deserves its own mention. Warm and attentive, without being intrusive, which is rare these days. It felt effortless and elevated the entire experience.
An exceptional dining experience all around. This is the kind of place that reminds you why going out to dinner can feel special.
