This critique is strong but necessary: just because okra is in your repertoire, doesn't earn it a spot on the menu. As a self-proclaimed okra enthusiast, disappointment was an understatement upon the sight of what can only be described as an inedible, snot-like green mess. A wonderful vegetable was lost in translation, conjuring an incredibly unpalatable and visually repelling dish. Splendor was traded for horror in this cuisine catastrophe. This grim spectacle was a disservice to okra lovers and neophytes alike. Next time, if okra must feature, prioritize presentation and taste, please.

I just had the pleasure of enjoying Mama Putt African Fusion Restaurant on Charleston and Valley View. The combination of flavors and textures in the Spicy Noodles With Beef was just perfect, and there’s nothing like the crispy sweet edges of the Fried Plantains! The vibe is fun and welcoming and the decor is beautiful. Don’t miss this one!

This family owned restaurant is a gem. We were super excited to have found a Cameroonian restaurant in Vegas after getting tired of eating the over priced unwholesome food at the strip.

This was soul food at its best. We dined in yesterday and door-dashed today. We had an over $200 complex DoorDash order as we wanted so many items off the menu. I added notes which were all followed to the T. The only thing missing was bobolo, which was not a big deal since everything else was great. The owner is very pleasant and food is yummy.

I ordered the Oxtail with Sweet potato and you eat it with your hands using the sweet potato. It is amazing full of flavor and very filling. I will definitely be eating leftovers. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.

Service was interesting. It was around 6pm, my husband and I walked in to what seems to be an empty restaurant. We must have missed the crowd because the server proceeded to inform us that their teriyaki items ran out which was alright as we weren't there for teriyaki to begin with. Anyhow, we decided on chicken curry with Fufu. Shortly after, the server tells my husband that they ran out of curry. I was a tad disappointed but quickly browsed the menu again and picked the chicken stew with Fufu. The cashier seem to have difficulty getting our orders in and getting our change back to us. Again, not a problem. Service was just nothing to look forward to.

Food was a 5 out of 5. I've been wanting to try Fufu for a few months now and I must say.. I wasn't disappointed. The chicken Stew with Fufu was delicious ! The flavour was on point, meat was tender, and Fufu was well done. Knowing how to eat Fufu is key to a good experience, so YouTube it if you have to.

Atmosphere of the dining is decent. Nice music. Spacious dining room. Overall clean and tidy.

We will definitely return for the food. 😊🔥

Eating here was my first introduction to African food and im glad to say it was incredible the ox tails were so tender they fell of the bone the stew it was cooked in was delicious flavorful and the veggies melted in your mouth and dont get me started on the Fufu. The service was amazing everyone was attentive and kind I will definitely be back the prices were great too. 10 10 would recommend.
