Worst Birthday Meal – Won’t Be Back

I decided to celebrate my birthday at Red Robin, but honestly, I would’ve been better off microwaving a frozen dinner at home. The burger gave me instant heartburn, like it was designed to punish my stomach rather than satisfy my hunger. The fries? Cold and lifeless, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours but never actually got warm.

To make things worse, the service was practically nonexistent. My drink sat empty for most of the meal, and getting the server’s attention felt like trying to signal a passing ship from a deserted island. Bottomless fries don’t mean much when you can’t even get a refill. The whole place felt like it was running on autopilot, and the staff seemed more interested in avoiding eye contact than actually doing their jobs.

As a birthday meal, this was a complete flop. The only thing Red Robin gifted me was regret. Won’t be making the mistake of coming back.

Red Robin is just one of the better chain restaurants. Fries are amazing (use honey mustard for a dip), you will thank me. As a go-to, we go here.

All it takes is one terrible server with ZERO customer service and terrible management to not correct issues. Our waitress was very unprofessional and disrespectful, as she was talking across the restaurant towards us in a very rude manner. NEVER have I experienced that and will never be returning. Used to celebrate birthday’s and special occasions here with the family, we were apart of their reward program for YEARS. I have NEVER been talked to so rudely in front of my children and family. And management did absolutely nothing when addressed. Go to BJ’S right up the street! Always great customer service with great atmosphere.

Just came back from here. Sat in the bar because it was crowded. Ordered based on the Lovebird Combo being run for Valentine's Day. The sweet potato fries were the dregs of the last batch: cold, wilted, greasy. Patron that ordered sweet potato fries after me got a literal pile of fresh fries. The bacon on the burgers was transparent (think Wendy's junior bacon cheese burger). Saw the manager talk to two booths (patrons there before us and the fresh fries table) but not stop to check in on patrons in booths or at the tall tables. Bill had to be redone to reflect the special after it was delivered.
