Food was not it. We ordered several things and nothing really matched expectations. The service was good. The ambiance is very nostalgic, but it doesn't make up for the food.

Not worth the money. The service was excellent, but I could have just microwaved my pizza rolls at home for under $200. The atmosphere is cool, and the staff is very nice—lots of fun, nostalgic things. The food was so medium that I didn't know what my money was spent on. It is Las Vegas, and everything is much more expensive, but it was almost unfair to charge this much for such a poor meal.

Best Staff in Vegas! Food is fantastic. Retro is nostalgia incarnate: the location is as inspired and creative as the food is. The cocktails are delicious beyond the norm, highly recommend!

I was so looking forward to eating here. I have wanted to eat their food since they were on Top Chef. The atmosphere, decor, and service were great. The food…not so much. The wife had the steak. It was just plain tough and hard to eat. I had the breaded chicken. It was very bland and the breading wasn’t crispy at all. And the sides (other than the mac and cheese) were meh. I see the way they cook we expected exciting delicious inventive food. And fell short in every category.

If you want a dining experience you’ll remember for the rest of your life, this is the spot. We had so much fun looking at all the art work and playing with the different games that brought us back to our childhood memories. The atmosphere was so well thought out, even down to the little details. The food was really good and the staff were all very kind. I would recommend anyone come here just because of the fun experience you will have.

Not great at all! Food and service were both under mediocre! Chef doesn’t even not any longer! Don’t waste your money on it when there are so many better options in Vegas!

Wow! The nostalgia is everywhere, but don't be fooled - the food is FANTASTIC!How do you "elevate" Spagetti-o's? Have the Voltaggios make it. Wagyu pot roast (served in a Corningware!) - yes, please!! Lobster Thermador that's high-end, but also comforting - only here. Every single thing was delicious (including the mac n cheese the way I ate it growing up: homey and fancy at the same time)!Service was amazing, food was out of this world, trivia cards on the table were super fun. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant. I know it's a pop-up, but I sure hope it finds a permanent place here.

My preteen and teenage grandkids came to visit. We had a staycation at Mandalay Bay, and we absolutely loved the decor, atmosphere and theme of retro by vig, The food was phenomenal ? as a mid-60-year-old, I absolutely loved those days of retro so the whole experience was wonderful… the phone booth in the elevator, my grandkids loved.Kid-friendliness: Just look around it’s so kid friendly… retro is kids!Wheelchair accessibility: There’s an elevator, so you can go downstairs and enjoy a wonderful dinner and there’s a cocktail bar.

We had a very enjoyable experience at Retro. The decor was awesome and brought us back to our childhood. Food and service were next level. Got the VoltaggiOs and loved them. Everything was an elevated version of classic dishes. Would easily go back.

The food was just bad. We tried all their appetizers, ordered drinks and were just so disappointed that we asked for the check before ordering any entrees. They weren't busy at all and we were a party of 8. The staff seemed upset with us like we were to blame for the quality of the food (we didn't finish anything). My great grandma (from the old country) haunted me that night cus of how bland that meatball was.Cool idea, poor execution.

Service was outstanding, the crew gets 5+ stars.Food quality was not worth the cost, that's why the 3 stars. Menu offers little variety. We did the chef's course; Cesar salad and beet tartare' appitizer were good, the rest not so much. Sorbet was good.Decorations in the lobby, cute and fun but nothing carries throughout the restaurant, a shame as the retro vibe disappears. If you go, recommend ordering a few things to try without committing to a meal.

An amazing experience! Best food we had in Las Vegas! Great atmosphere. They had trivial pursuit cards on the tables….FUN! The staff were amazing! Would go back to Las Vegas just for this restaurant!

Are dinner at Retro and it was spectacular. The prix fixe menu is great value for the cost and the food is spectacular. Highly recommend the Voltaggi-os for that classic feel of Spaghetti-os, but actually edible. The Pinkie is the best desert at the table, it tastes just like a pink starburst. Ashley was very attentive and friendly.

Holy XXX‍!!!! Amazing is an understatement. The attitude and what you see on TV from the Volt is deserved and now better understood. Taste, texture, depth of flavor, sauce , spice and presentation is...what you would expect from the Volt. It DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!! You watch the shows and you get it here. It's Vegas, the service is gold standard. Go see Sal at the bar, he knows how a drink should be poured. The manager Ashley made my time at Retro special. The food: Close your eyes and put your finger on the menu. If you don't like it, either you have no appreciation or don't know amazing flavors. Let me know if you don't like it, I may just reimburse you. Love the 80's music and vibe. Should have rode my Mongoose bike and wore my SexWax shirt to dinner. Awesome.

Big fans of the the Voltaggios Brothers so we were excited to visit while this restaurant was around. The service was amazing and our waiter was absolutely on point the whole evening. The food was really good, with interesting unexpected twists- but that's what's expected from Voltaggio. We enjoyed ourselves and the meal, even if it was a tad overpriced overall. The decor had potential, and the Reto concept is very cool, however you can tell it is a temporary installment in a setting that doesn't throughly fit the vibe. (Think bland 2000s fast casual restaurant that someone displayed their childhood memories all over). The stairway is cool tho! We had reservations but the restaurant was not full and I'm sure we could have walked in. If it's still around next visit, might just try for a seat at the bar instead.
