We were looking forward to eating here, but either the restaurant or Open Table allowed a reservation to be made for Sunday evening when the restaurant was closed. Despite making our reservation over a week early, as well as responding positively to the "Let Robata En know you're coming" email from Open Table, no one informed us that they weren't open on Sundays. The result was the cost of a round trip ride share from the Strip. (We didn't want to leave a 1-star review for the food or service as we had neither, but weren't allowed to leave a review with missing ratings.) (As of the posting of this review, reservations are still available for upcoming Sundays, so double check the restaurant's hours before trusting the reservation.)

Haven't been to Raku in awhile and they did not disappoint! We went there after attending a BTS concert so the restaurants in the area were very crowded including Raku. The best part is that they don't overcrowd the restaurant and so the ambience was still great for lovers and dates but also good for friends to get together. The food was spectacular - we had the wagyu, bluefin tuna, yellowtail, enoki mushroom and the baby Barracuda. They were very attentive to make sure that the food was delivered to your table one by one so you can savor each dish. And even though they were crowded, the staff did not rush you and let you enjoy your food and time. Better to call in ahead and reserve since they want you to enjoy your experience which leads to you staying longer so the wait time can be long if you try to walk in.

A pretty nice and spacious spot located along Spring Mountain Rd. They have a good variety of food so everyone can enjoy something. I personally liked the skewers. The yakitori and waygu skewers were excellent. They had tons of flavor and was tender. My friends enjoyed a variety of sushi items. The milk and cookies dessert is definitely a must try! The cookies are fresh and the milk has this slight peanut flavor to it, which is amazing!

First of all they got us to book a reservation based on there marketing of having AAA uni. Guess what? Out of Uni. Food was mediocre and I had to continue to ask for my beverage and remind the waiter I did not get my appetizer. I would not return.

My sister birthday !! She was impressed quality of food of course great service and the server he recommended the beer from Okinawa really good .. we have sashimi plate the quality of fish is amazing !! If you want great Japanese food this is the place !!

The food was delicious! But the service was ok. They got my drink wrong, then our waters were never refilled. But they did bring the courses in a timely matter. One course was out of order because they were still cooking the the short rib, but definitely my favorite dish of the night!
Different experience. Clean restaurant, minimalistic, attendants are courteous. We had pre set valentines menu. Very very small portion. Food tastes good though. But we had better experience in other fine dining restos. We don't expect big portion but this one is too small. My hubby is a big guy. We have to be thoughtful to each other of how much we are digging in. My hubby wants to eat somewhere else after to further satisfy his appetite. Music genre doesn't go well with the ambience. Good experience but won't be coming back to it.
We've been to this restaurant and loved it that's why we went back on Valentine's Day, it was the tasting menu that was only served... this time it was just so so, for the $$ that we paid, we felt it wasn't worth it... I don't mind paying as long as the food experience was outstanding. Their regular menu was a lot better

Every tender bit of food was exquisitely prepared and tasted as good as it looked. My surprises were the homemade tofu and the fois gras. My favorites were the meaty skewers!

We ended up in china town after a long day thinking we would have American Chinese. Wanted to go to Big Wong just around the corner but just for the t-shirt but it was very non-covid slow. So we went to one of the several restaurants in the plaza. Raku - this is real Japanese - we couldn't hardly order as we knew nothing about the menu and what to do. It was more like a tapas menu. Ordered yellowtail, duck and liver on a skewer all VERY good and 4 Oyako bowls (rice egg onion cheese) bowl as that's all we really understood on the menu. not pricey not cheap - 110 no drinks. Waitress was great but didn't really help our ordering - Wish they would help us new comers but I understand it is a very Japanese place.
Food was amazing including desert. Ambiance was not so amazing, it could be though. Put away the broom and dustpan in plain view, don't allow the servers to place their jackets in dining area. Small things I guess. Food was amazing! Servers not so much. Called me bro and dude, and said yup as a response.

This was a lovely, quiet place which we hoped would take the place of the wonderful Yanaka restaurant, gone from Vegas for several years. We were not disappointed. We sat by the counter, watched preparation which was precise and spoke with the staff from time to time. The food was fine, occasionally surprising, and beautifully presented. Service was extremely attentive. We will come here again.
