We were so busy stuffing our faces with incredible food, I barely took any photos! We chose this place for our wedding dinner because we knew it'd be amazing, and it totally was – the service was fantastic, and the food? Out of this world! A few guests couldn't make it, so I managed to sneak in two steaks (don't judge!). The staff were incredible. We were too full for the Ruth's Chris wedding cake, but trust me, it was amazing and a great value. The private dining room overlooking the restaurant was way bigger than the online photos showed, and it really made us feel part of the atmosphere – perfect!
Our family reserved a large table at 845. We also had a second smaller party. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly empty. It seemed like their were seats available everywhere. Yet for some reason when we expressed combining the party you would’ve thought we asked to be placed on the roof. So many excuses, so much confusion. The available waitress wasn’t capable of serving 3 more people. How she could serve 12 but not 15 seemed questionable.
They FINALLY reset tables, replaced us elsewhere. Then the waiter said “all food needs to be ordered within 5 mins” I literally stood up and left my family.
Terrible service
We will definitely NOT be going back. Service and food quality have gone WAY DOWN. We usually eat at Ruth's Chris once or twice during our 2 week stay in Vegas. This trip we're only going ONCE and are disappointed we wasted time and money here with this one visit.
Terrible service started it off. One of the hostesses that sat us told me to remind my 74 year old black father and uncle to take their ball caps off. I mention race only because directly behind us was white man around the same age with a hat on. Just last November the hostess had said the restaurant had changed their policy and hats were allowed juat no bathing suits or tank tops. My mom and aunt were furious. Apparently a waiter overheard my mom and aunt and someone eventually told him to remove his hat as well. Our waiter Brock was just Ok. We've had much better and as well as worse.
The food was mediocre at best. Half the steaks were cooked perfect the others were over cooked. My uncle sent his back and by the time it arrived we were all done eating. The flavor was bland and getting salt for the table to use seemed impossible. So we just ate it as is and left completely disappointed.
You just expect more when your bill is $800 for 6 people. The 500° plate gimmick is annoying as well. I guess because I've heard it so many times and even when I say yes we all have eaten here and know the plates are 500° we still have to listen to the whole spill about the 500° plates. Maybe it's mandatory to remind people. But, if you order a medium steak be prepared for it to be medium well as it continues to cook on your 500° plate while your sides are at best luke warm. The sides need to arrive on the same 500° plates as well. Not impressed this time.
Ruth's Chris Steak House was absolutely top-notch—everything from the service to the food was spot on. The steak was cooked to perfection, sides were flavorful, and the atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming. Definitely a memorable dining experience.
Shrimp was actually seasoned good, lamb chops not seasoned thoroughly, lobster had a plastic taste to it, cheesecake was pretty good, au gratin okay.
It’s probably the location, next time I’ll have Ruth Chris where it started at in New Orleans and I’m 1,000,000,000% sure everything will be WELL SEASONED there.
Great service! Great food!
We had the Cowboy Ribeye and Au-gratin potatoes. It was ok…. The Steak and potatoes both needed salt however you need to ask for it and they add some for you at the table. Fortunately we are locals and got free parking but don’t believe what you read online about them validating parking because they don’t and parking is $35.00. The conclusion is go to Oscar’s at the Plaza, the food and value is better.
Bartender was so nice and personable. Table was near the window and very pretty. Sneak was ordered medium but came medium well which was a bummer.
They took us with no reservation. Thank you it was our 19th Anniversary 🥂. Solid food & Service.
Very expensive!

Great food, great service and great location mid strip. Joe was awesome, he made our dinner very relaxing and enjoyable. We can’t recommend this location enough.
Rude staff. My wife and I had a reservation a few days ago at 5pm. The place was empty. We were not comfortable in the booth that they sat us in and we asked to move to a table with chairs 5 feet away. We were told that was not possible since the waiter that handled that table did not come in to work for another 1/2 hour. The conversation on their behalf was very rude. We left and went to Gordon Ramsey's. Excellent service!! Great Steak!
Great night. Great food.
PHENOMENAL! BRAVO! SUPERB!
The VERY BEST steak , not only in Las Vegas, but the world! Seared on the outside, at high heat to lock in all the flavor & juices. Fat is caramelized. Served on a 500° plate & delicately parched on a pool of flavorful butter. Impeccable view! Our server, Beth, took note that we were celebrating birthdays & even surprised us each with a complementary birthday sweet with candles lit & all! Memorable & unforgettable dining experience, all the way around!!!
Steaks were very overcooked and we were then given the end cut steak! Twice the price of all other Ruth Chris!
