I love how the flavors rotate, and there are always vegan options. (Brewster's up Durango hasn't changed.) Unique combinations, and fresh tasting. This a treat outing or date night dessert. :)
I highly recommend coming here for a nice relaxing ice cream. Salt and Straw offers lots of unique and delicious flavors. The service is great.
This ice cream spot is a real treat and a definite find. It's the perfect example of getting what you pay for, and then some. The price is totally fair for the incredible quality you get.
Their ice cream is rich, creamy, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. I tried the salted caramel and it was divine—perfectly balanced between sweet and salty, with a smooth texture that was just perfect. They have a great selection of classic and unique flavors, so there's something for everyone.
The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, patient, and happy to offer you samples to help you decide. The shop itself is clean and has a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. It's a place that feels good to support.
Overall, if you're looking for a delicious scoop of ice cream that’s worth every penny without breaking the bank, this is the place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
I honestly can’t recommend Salt & Straw to anyone.
For most of my life, ice cream was the reward at the end of a long week, the celebration of a good day, the comfort on a hard one. Every weekend, I looked forward to it. I cherished the familiar flavors, the little rituals, the joy in every scoop.
But then I went to Salt & Straw and they destroyed that for me. I’ve walked into the same shops I once loved, hoping to feel what I used to feel, only to leave empty. The flavors that once thrilled me now taste lifeless. The textures feel thin. It’s as if every other cone, pint, and sundae in the world has lost its soul.
I’ve tried to force myself to forget. I’ve ordered my old favorites, sat down, and pretended. But each bite is a reminder of what I’ve lost. Ice cream, my favorite go to treat, is gone to me now.
And as I write this, I am sitting in a Cold Stone Creamery, 400 miles from the nearest Salt & Straw. The room hums with laughter, children press their faces against the glass, and spoons scrape against bowls. But for me, there is only absence. I taste nothing but disappointment. What was once comfort is now grief.
So I urge you: if you still want to love ice cream in all its ordinary forms, stay away from Salt & Straw. Please. Keep your innocence. Protect your joy.
Because once you’ve tasted Salt & Straw, you will understand what I now know: the only ice cream worth having anymore… is theirs.
So good…chocolate gooey brownie with w waffle chip!
Favorite ice cream place!!
Good ice cream! But $8 for a single scoop cone of ice cream is crazy!
Salt & Straw is a stable in my family household. We always grab a pint or two whenever we visit Durango Uncommons. The flavors are so tasty, all of them! I love the concept of having monthly flavors, encouraging customers to return to try new ice creams.
Delicious! Oddly enough the olive oil ice cream flavor is my favorite!
It was my go-to place in LA, and now it is here too. Hope to see more locations in LV soon!
Edit: Please add more blue cheese to Pear & Blue cheese flavor. LA location has more. This location has almost none.

Absolutely the most original and best tasting ice cream we have ever experienced. Polite friendly employees and a fun atmosphere. Make sure to sample as many flavors as you want, they encourage it!
Love honey lavender flavor! Don’t often have that flavor at other places.
I came based on a friend's recommendation. They have lots of interesting flavors, but I landed on the huckleberry cornbread pudding... It was surprisingly delicious!! It's worth a try of tou haven't been. 😋
This was absolutely incredible, the fact they have different flavors each month to make a bigger variety! And how good these combos taste. I had Birthday Cake with Berries. And the sourness from the berries but the sweetness of the birthday cake worked so well together. I would go here all the time, the flavors are unique from most ice cream shops. I love this shop! 🍦🍨
