We have dined at Salt Grass both Laughlin and Las Vegas several times. Last night in Vegas on Halloween my wife and I both had filets. My steak was under cooked and the meat was very tough for a filet. It was actually difficult to cut. I order it med and it was served as rare and still very tough. Compared to the Strip this was an awesome experience. The food was so fabulous that we all cleaned up our plates (which as Seniors we rarely do anymore!). The price was absolutely fair and the food was delicious! We even shared a carrot cake desert which was wonderful as well. If I ever make it back to Las Vegas I will be sure to come again!
We have eaten here a few times. The food has been pretty good at times or not so much. We do enjoy the mushrooms. Our issue is we have had a hair in our food twice. Last year we ordered a salad to split and there was a hair on the plate. We know that can happen but when my husband had a hair in his salad again this year, we said never again. We have had decent service in the past but this time the bartender totally ignored us. We were drinking soda and couldn't get a refill....
