6 open four top tables and I asked to sit in a private booth for mental health reasons. The RUDE HOST said I had to sit next to strangers at a crowded table because one person isn't allowed to sit alone in a booth there are literally 6 booths open!
The vibe was alright, but in my opinion the food was not good. I got a burger and it was horribly misshapen, the meat, (if it even was) looked like a strange color and smelled weird. it was also incredibly greasy to the point of having to blot the patty with a napkin. Obviously from the photo it has a very strange look. I think that if you’re in a pinch it isn’t the worst place to go but i definitely wouldn’t choose to.
I normally don’t leave reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. We booked a flight with a two hour layover so we could have time to get our children to the restroom, have a meal and grab snacks. First off, they did not have enough menus for our party. It took 15 mins for someone to come take our order. Another 15-20 minutes for our serve to realize she never put in our food or drinks in and had to come retake our order. Another 10-15 for sodas. By the time our food came out we almost missed our flight. We asked a server for boxes so we could take our food to go but she didn’t bring any. I finally had to go to the bar and wave someone down to get boxes. The people next to us even apologized for how bad our service was. They had gotten drinks from the bar, food, and already finished half of their meals before we even got our sodas. I would have asked to speak to a manager but, there was none in sight. So disappointing.
If you’ve eaten here and have anything bad to say, then you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Theresa (spelling?). Her warmth, suggestions, enthusiasm, personable and pleasant demeanor, and professionalism made the experience better than anything I could have imagined. To feel welcomed and cared for in such a genuine manner made my day and I’ll remember Sammy’s Beach Bar and Grill because of Theresa’s amazing personality. Thank you, Theresa!!!
Also, the burger was delicious! 😋
It was so packed i decided not to eat here it was only two servers and not enough room
Sammy Beach Bar and Grill in Las Vegas offers a casual, laid-back vibe, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite hit the mark during my visit. I ordered a basic cheeseburger with fries, expecting a straightforward diner-style meal, but the experience was underwhelming. The burger patty had an unusual odor that was off-putting, and the overall flavor was below average. The fries were decent, but nothing memorable. While the atmosphere might be appealing for a relaxed hangout, I wouldn’t recommend this spot for the food, especially if you’re looking for a satisfying burger. It’s a pass for me.
Ask to sit somewhere. I was told no, and then they moved a group to where I asked to sit. The waitresse was absent had to ask for water, etc.
Located in Las Vegas airport terminal C near gate 29. We stopped in before our flight for a quick bite, we did not have to wait for seating although it was definitely hustling and bustling inside. The service was fast and friendly, drinks were good and it set us on our way for a great flight.
Fries was cold and chicken tenders were old. Margarita was small and cost $20.
Overpriced cafeteria-quality food with no frills.

Waited more than 40 minutes for breakfast food that never arrived. Waitstaff was rude and unfriendly when I said we could wait no longer, boarding was in 10 minutes. Find another place to eat!
Waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs. Coffee - no real milk or cream available, only International delight packages creamer, yuck! Finally got waitress to check on our order only to find out it had been lost. We had to leave to catch flight.
I had the single most worst experience here that I have ever had in a restaurant in my life. Once seated, the server asked me for my drink order, then she came back with a drink (which was horrible) and took my food order, a chicken quesadilla (which was mediocre at best). She fairly promptly delivered my food order, at which time I ordered another, different, drink. I ate my food and I waited probably around 15 or so minutes and my cocktail did not come out. My server was nowhere to be seen. I saw my cocktail sitting at the bar, and I asked another waitress if she could bring it to me. She said she could not unless it had a ticket with it, which you could clearly see that it did. So then she did bring me the drink. I waited and waited and waited for my server to return to bring me my tan. I literally waited for over a half hour before I realized I had to go or be late for my flight. I approached the host who told me I could only pay with my waitress. I could see he went over and spoke with her about it, but then she went and took two more tables orders and did not return to me. I had been there over an hour and a half at this point and my flight was already boarding so I approached the host again with a credit card and cash in my hand trying to pay my tab. I conveyed my sense of urgency, but the host just aggressively corrected me and said I already told your server you could only deal with her. There is nothing I can do for you. I told him that I would have to leave then, and he yelled at me that he would call security if I did. The other testaurant patrons who witnessed this were horrified. All I was trying to do at this point was to pay my bill. My server still did not return to my table, so I threw some cash on the counter and left. I was well past the restaurant and heading toward my gate when my server approached me, and she was yelling at me that I didn’t leave enough money. I broke out my wallet and gave her additional cash to pay my tab. She started yelling at me that they had a new system and that it wasn’t her fault, mind you this is in the middle of a busy airport concourse. I was extremely upset, so I paid the money and asked her to stop yelling at me and she replied you are yelling at me! I was just trying to get to my gate on time. I barely made my flight and when I got to the gate, they told me that I had left my credit card at the restaurant. But that time it was too late for me to go back and retrieve it so I asked them to destroy it…but the bottom line is they could’ve charged me anyway. I will have to call my credit card company to see if they charged me further. I was literally there for an hour and a half to have two drinks and one quesadilla which was all served within the first 45 minutes. I waited and waited to just try to pay my bill. The staff were aggressive and hostile. Just for reference, I have been a server For a significant part of my life. I am very patient and I tip well but I have never ever been treated with such aggression and hostility, as I was at this establishment. I will be contacting management tomorrow.
This is pivotal frozen cheap burger meat. Like Bubba potatoes you buy in bulk from Walmart. McDonald's serially has fresher tasting burgers and that said a lot. Very disappointed
The staff was good. No complaints with that. Only complaint is I paid $26 plus tip for cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. And the fries were alright but seemed like they were not that higher quality you’d expect for the price similar for the burger. Maybe if the whole thing was like $18 I’d be like ya… up charge for the airport. But realistically this was not at restaurant level but cheap diner quality for luxury price.
