Serrano Vista Cafe inside the Palms Casino in Las Vegas really stands out with their customer service and the food was good, too!
Our server (I believe her name was Michelle) was super upbeat, enthusiastic, and genuinely friendly - I loved her positive attitude!
Everyone from our party ordered a variety of items from Margarita Pizza (Flatbread), Chicken Wings, Salad, Pasta, etc.
The cafe itself isn’t too big but what stood out was the awesome service. At the end, we stopped to look at the desserts in the display case. Of course, we ordered some donuts, such as the Leche Flan and Ube donuts from Purple Potato. Really really good. The coffee, however, wasn’t as hot.
Overall, I wasn’t expecting much from a cafe other than to grab a bite but the service we received was excellent and it made for a very pleasant dining experience! I wouldn’t mind stopping by again the next time I’m at the Palms!

Very easy to get a seat, not busy on random thursday early evening. Host was nice, everything clean and they have cloth napkins which is always a plus. I had the chicken curry, very solid flavor but a little over the top on onions, 2 types of onion in the dish(not a big deal just pick some out) chicken was a bit over cooked and scarce. General portion size is kind of small but with a beer it was enough to be full. A bit over priced for the portion/quality. Sever was very nice, almost too nice but did her job well.

I eat here 2-3x per month due to my travel/work schedule. The grab and go is always painfully slow. One person taking orders when they need two, hostess doesn't come over and help alleviate the line. Then the wait for a salad is 18 minutes.....smh

Ordered a Belgian waffle with compote and it was just berries dumped on it and looked like a child tried making a waffle from the freezer. Will never eat here again. Just terrible.

I went in on a slow Thursday night. I order the chicken Parmesan and asked to sub the spaghetti noodles for fettuccine noodles for my son. The guy that took my order said no problem and then when I returned to pick up the food the guy told me that the chef told him no that he wouldn’t sub the fettuccine noodles. He wouldn’t give me a reason why. Just refused to do so. And refused to talk to me. This is the palms casino in Las Vegas, there is no reason at all a simple request like that should be denied. And with no explanation? What are you worried about? The food cost? On 6 ounces of pasta? Give me a break. Why work in the food service industry if you don’t want to provide great service to your guest?

I love these fat croissant donuts they have here... Every one has been good and have tried almost all of them I think by now
The food was better when it was Lucky Penny. Our server wasn't pleasant at all. My dad was thinking about the T-Bone and our server said it's the worst cut he can order. We were surprised that the staff talks bad about their meat selection. He dismissed my Mom's request about using their food credits with, "I don't know your balance." He then refilled our sodas with a take out cup. Just everything about the night's service was off.
We've given the new cafe a chance a few times already.

Serrano Vista Café isn’t just a casino diner. Whether you’re looking for something light and trendy or a hearty breakfast that will have you waddling back to the slots, they’ve got you covered. First up, the avocado toast. This isn’t your basic “smashed avocado on bread” situation. No, Serrano Vista said, “Let’s put zatar chickpeas, radishes, basil, and feta on this thing and watch people’s minds explode.” The result? A masterpiece. It’s savory, crunchy, tangy, and fancy. Then there are the salads, and let me tell you, these portions are large. The mediterranean salad is practically a work of art, piled high with fresh ingredients, and the Caesar has enough croutons and cheese to make you rethink every skimpy salad you’ve ever had. And then there’s the country breakfast. Eggs cooked to perfection, and bacon that is smoky and thick. The atmosphere is casual but polished, with friendly staff who somehow know exactly when you need a refill.
