I went to Shake Shack today and had one of the most frustrating experiences. The guy at the cash register was just counting money and told us he couldn’t take our order, so we had to use the kiosk. The problem is I didn’t have my card and needed to pay with cash. I asked if someone could come to the register, and it took them about 10 minutes to finally show up. When they did, they actually took another guy’s order first even though we were waiting in line before him. Then, instead of taking my order right after, they just left the register again. On top of that, the restaurant itself was disgusting. The floors were sticky, tables weren’t wiped down, and it was obvious that they don’t clean the place properly. It honestly made me not even want to eat there after how bad the service already was. I don’t think customers should be treated like that, and I really don’t understand how a place can stay open when it’s that dirty and unorganized.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite places to eat after work. I work right next door, so whenever I get the chance, I stop by Shake Shack and it never lets me down. Everyone there is so sweet and respectful, which always makes the experience even better. My favorite things to order are the Veggie Shack and the spicy cheese fries. They hit the spot every single time. Lately I’ve been trying out their different drinks and I’ve got to say, the cherry limeade is a must. It tastes just like cherry pie filling with a little hint of lemon, so sweet and delicious. If you’re looking for a quick and tasty bite, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try.

When you walk in you order on a kiosk which is annoying. I had a question but there were no employees accessible to ask. Then they ask you to tip on top of it and grab a number. I’m not sure why they have you take a number or ask for a tip when all they do is shout your name to pick up your order at the counter. Honestly I’m soooooo tired of all these kiosk places wanting the consumer to supplement the staffs income when they are literally doing the absolute BARE minimum. I mean they put in as much effort as a fast food joint. The food wasn’t good either. My daughter’s hot dog was burnt so that got thrown away along with half of my portobello burger because it was honestly not good. It’s a shame that so many places give such crap service and food nowadays
I have tasted many burgers in my lifetime, but the Avocado Bacon Burger that have is hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. I’m pretty sure it’s the combination of the bun they use and the freshness of their patties and the avocado. Whatever it is, you cannot go wrong with the Avocado Bacon Burger!!!
