Beautiful place, but food is so so. The bbq powder on top of the fries is disgusting. Fries are okay, the sauce with them is different but in a bad way. Grilled Cheese and Shack Stack were good.

Not the greatest experience, but maybe was bad timing. Waited a half hour for food, but seemed like a busy time. Staff wasn't super helpful, but they were very busy. Felt like maybe they needed more staff, honestly.

I ordered an Avocado Chicken Sandwich with no bacon due to religious reasons. Unfortunately, the sandwich was served with bacon, and I only realized it after eating half of it. This was extremely upsetting, as I have avoided bacon my entire life for over 30 years, and that trust was broken due to a preventable mistake.
To the manager’s credit, the sandwich was replaced immediately and without hesitation, which I appreciate. I also want to be clear that paying again for a replacement was never the issue — I would have gladly done so. What cannot be replaced is the impact this had on my cultural and religious beliefs. This experience has left me so uncomfortable that I do not plan to return to Shake Shack again.
Unfortunately, the situation was made worse by the staff member who served the order. Instead of apologizing, he was rude and attempted to blame me for eating half the sandwich, rather than taking responsibility for the error. That response showed a lack of empathy and professionalism.
I do want to acknowledge that the staff member who was cleaning the tables was kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful, which I appreciated during an otherwise upsetting experience.
I am sharing this review not just for myself, but to help prevent similar situations for others who have food allergies, religious restrictions, or medical dietary needs. Food preparation and order accuracy are critical, and staff must be more conscious and careful when preparing and serving meals. A mistake like this can have serious consequences beyond inconvenience.
