Delicious! A perfect stop for lunch or dinner if you can get a table. Definitely try the Shanghai rice cakes. Affordable and speedy service as well (you write on a card to order, and they have an open kitchen where you can watch them make dumplings) this place is well known for a reason!

There’s so much to say about Shanghai Taste and yet this review alone won’t do it enough justice. This is a true hidden gem in the Vegas area. Located in Vegas’ Chinatown, Shanghai Taste is pretty accessible with a large parking lot out front and with it being a short 10 min drive from the strip. The interior feels humble, ruddy showing of the chefs preparing the dumplings as you wait for your table. We arrived with a large party of 10 or so and had to wait about 10 minutes before we could be seated. They don’t have many seats so reservations are a must here.
When we were seated we ordered just about half the entire menu. We got traditional soup dumplings, fish dumplings, pan fried dumplings, two different fried rice, scallion pancakes, chicken chow mein, and wok choy. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Extraordinary. which is even crazier to think about because Shanghainese is typically not our go to type anyways. The soup dumplings in particular are among, if not, the best we’ve ever had. The chow mein was cooked perfectly with moist pieces of chicken throughout. The scallion pancakes were even fantastic for as simple of a dish as it can be. All this and you even get free hot tea to help wash some of it down. It was astonishing just how good every dish could be.
Although it’s off the strip, as Chinese food goes, this is a must stop by. The food is incredible. It isn’t going to wow you like other restaurants on the strip with a nice presentation or a breathtaking setting, but we guarantee you on taste alone this will be one of the best Chinese food places you’ve ever been to (and we’re from the Bay and NYC). If you like Chinese food, or even just food for that matter, then do yourself a favor and stop by here immediately.

Your foods sushi is good, but broth of soup need to be tasty more salty, sweet, and meat need to be smoking pork, and the price of one bowl soup 16 to 18 dollar is better than, you need to go at Arial resort to taste the soup at inside the Casino and know how to cook like them so you will got best sale for ever, just about soup ,everything else is good
Food/Taste/ - and we're back again! Always a great place to go for XLB. We ordered Traditional Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Wonton in Chili Oil Sauce, and House Fried Rice with Shrimp. Food was delicious without being salty. The XLB was sweeter than I remembered but still enjoyable. The spicy wontons were great and my SO used the chili oil soup for the XLB and the fried rice. The fried rice was simple but quite flavorful and they were generous with the amount of shrimp given.
- we did visit the location just before 5 so it was empty with no wait. Service was very quick still and they were at our table refilling the tea the moment we ran out.
- since it was before dinner rush, the restaurant was quiet but you can hear the conversation from the kitchen.
Value for price: 5/5 - it' is a bit more expensive than we remember but understandable considering the price increase in all the restaurants in the area.

This is located in busy Shanghai Plaza. Traffic and parking can be difficult, especially on the weekends.
My favorite was the pan fried soup dumplings. The Xiao Long Bao was also very good. Take them seriously when they tell you to be careful because the food is hot! My only knock is they don’t bring out finely slivered ginger to accompany the dumplings.
Prices are reasonable and the service was excellent.

Went here for the dumplings!!! They were amazing. Best I’ve ever tasted. The menu was rather small. They only serve teas and soft drinks.

Great food and price. Only complaint is my sibling and I got put at a table in the corner with no air flow on a really hot day even when there were plenty of tables available so it killed the experience a little bit sweating like a misbehaving dog in corner lol

Every time in Las Vegas we come here. Amazing quality food - better than in LA and almost as good as in China. The service is very helpful and warm!
First time here with my boyfriend, came specifically for the soup dumplings, ended up ordering 3 types plus fried rice as well as hot tea and it did not disappoint. Frank, our server was nothing but helpful with questions about the menu, such as what kind of meat were inside and what not. Definitely coming back and recommending to friends!
