This is a great local spot run by an amazing family. I coach soccer at the desert breeze park and needed to use the restroom. The gentleman working at the time allowed me in which saved me. Thank you very much. The food here is also amazing. Give this place a try. You'll enjoy the food, atmosphere and service

Best pho in town. Similar to California pho. If you like California pho then it is the one stop shop place to have a fabulous Vietnamese food. Highly recommended !!!!!!!

My husband found this place because my favorite pho restaurant closed awhile ago. We’ve ordered from here 4 times and today was very disappointing and will prevent me from ordering again. Our daughter loves pho but the portions are normally too much for her so I have him order the child’s pho when it’s offered at a restaurant. I’ve only found a few that offer the child’s portion so when my husband found this place I was excited. He has ordered from here 3 times within the last month and today is the fourth. He proceeded to order but was rudely told that he couldn’t order the child’s portion to go! Why would you allow him To order prior but today you say no, and be rude about it???? The food is good but poor customer service will keep me from returning and I will tell everyone I know not to dine here as well. If you’re going to be rude to your customers for trying to order to go then you shouldn’t be in business.

One of the best papaya salads I’ve had. Very pretty and balanced with the perfect veg/meat/herbs/peanut ratio with a side of extra sauce. The flan is also a delicious sweet treat to wrap up a meal.
Excellent food and service.

Chill spot for Vietnamese food in Spring Valley, run by real ones. The pho broth hits just right—tastes homemade and legit. You can hear the staff speaking their native tongue in the kitchen, which says a lot. This time I went with the bún (vermicelli noodle salad) with egg rolls and grilled steak—fire. Super friendly folks too. Love supporting local love. Much respect.

I ordered the rare beef pho. Nothing phenomenal. If I was in the area I would eat here but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Our waiter was friendly but hard to find.

Sidestreet Pho & Grill has been a staple for my girlfriend, who has dined here over 30 times. But after this visit, we both left wondering if the magic had faded. While the food had its moments, the inconsistency and service left a bad taste in our mouths—something even the best pho can’t fix.
The shrimp spring rolls were absolute perfection. Fresh, tightly wrapped, and bursting with flavor. But then came the peanut sauce, which was as bland as an unsalted cracker dipped in water. It didn’t do those rolls justice, and we found ourselves wishing for a little spice, salt, or really anything to save it. The rare beef pho? Phenomenal. A hearty broth that was rich and flavorful, with perfectly tender beef slices. If you come here just for this, you might leave happy. But unfortunately, my girlfriend’s tofu pho was an entirely different story. You know what makes tofu pho special? The tofu. You know what they didn’t include in hers? The tofu. And then there’s the service—or lack thereof. This was my third visit, and I’ve never had high expectations for their attentiveness, but this was something else. We had to ask three separate times for silverware. Three. For a place my girlfriend has raved about for years, this was a major letdown. What’s baffling is that the management hasn’t changed. So why has the experience taken such a hit? Sidestreet used to be her go-to, but now it’s clear that consistency is no longer their strong suit.

They used shredded chicken in their fried rice. For that price, I would think they would at least use actual chicken breast or something. Quality has gone down. I have lived in the area and I’m not sure if it’s new ownership but definitely things have changed.
