Tried out their restaurant week 3 course with the braised short rib Benedict, first course fruit plate with granola was great perfectly ripe melons was great their short rib Benedict with hash was very under seasoned with the sauce tasting of only butter and the ribs lacking flavor, desert with peanut butter gelato with bacon was interesting but the bacon added only salt
I was going to leave this place a really poor review after feeling overlooked. It took 5-10 minutes before anyone spoke to me after being seated. A very incredible server named Carmen seemed to notice I hadn’t been served yet and went above and beyond to find my server. . What happened to me did not seem to be happening to anyone else and the service from carmen definitely made me feel taken care of. I absolutely love the Westgate and the restaurants located inside after this...
Overall, a reasonably good lunch today. It was convenient to the convention rooms, had fast seating for 1, and the Prime Rib Sandwich was delicious. The meat was tender, not chewy, and the au jus complemented it well.
My order was taken quickly, but it did take a long time to get my sandwich, which was surprising, as it wasn’t very crowded.
