DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE... IT CLOSED DOWN! I was very disappointed and inconvenienced, as my friends caught an Uber to meet up with me here. I was shocked upon arrival to discover that it shutdown. I don't know why the heck the restaurant is still tied to OpenTable and taking reservations?!?!

So we were very excited to try this place for our date night. However, when we arrived hungry and ready for a great experience, we discovered the restaurant was closed down. Wish Open Table had known this in advance and informed us

It was closed - clearly your app doesn't have a process for that and this ruined date night

The restaurant was closed! Not sure why they allowed me to make a reservation when not open for dining.

We had reservations to celebrate my daughter's birthday on Sunday at 6pm. We arrived and the restaurant was closed, locked, lights out. Not a good start to her year. Very disappointed that we were not contacted by the restaurant to let us know they were closed. We went to The Cantina by El Dorado up the street, which was excellent. Go there instead of here.

Siempre JB? More like nunca JB because they were closed despite accepting our reservation and listing themselves as open online and on their front door.

Everything was good. Drinks and service was excellent. Food needs seasoning on enchiladas. But besides that it was a very friendly atmosphere

We enjoyed the meals we got and the happy hour was good. The cocktails were great! The music was a bit repetitive and not very inviting. It was modern Latin music that didn't feel welcoming. Our sever did change it for a bit. Overall we had a good experience.

I don’t post reviews often for restaurants, but this was probably my best meal of 2025. My wife said it was one of the best she had as well. Very pleasantly surprised!

The restaurant is pretty but does not live up to what is depicted on the website. The food is just okay. To start with, the chips lacked in flavor. The salsa was quite good but not particularly hot. The taquitos were flour and were doughy. The watermelon and jicama salad was very good. The mole sauce, while spicy, was underwhelming. The trio of enchiladas were just shredded chicken rolled in corn tortillas with three sauces, rojo, verde and mole. There should have been more sauce, and the chicken was unseasoned. I make better chicken enchiladas. The carnitas dinner was good but dry. Dessert was churros which were good. The tres leches cake had no flavor. When we were first seated, the music was fine, but later when the DJ appeared, it got very loud and conversation was not possible. I was anticipating genuine Mexican flavors, but JB Siempre did not deliver.

We were the only customers for the first half of our time there until more customers arrived at the restaurant later. Our service was not that great, even though it wasn't busy. While we had our waters refilled, they never offered to get us more alcoholic beverages, which we would have. We had ordered a bottle of wine and wanted another, but they did not return to our table except to bring the food. There was also a significant discrepancy in the food being served. One of the plates came out 10-15 minutes after the others were served. When the restaurant first opened, it was terrific. I'm not sure if it is under new management, but we won't be coming back. It was disappointing and so expensive.

Great food and even better cocktails! I got an horchata drink with tequila in it, so good! They were even able to make our request of upside down pineapple shots 😂

The food can get expensive in a group setting, but the steaks and side dishes and even the food tasted good as leftovers!

Overall a good experience except for the loud music. Great drinks, great food, and great service. Remove the DJ and I would have given this place 5 stars.

We had a highly anticipated birthday dinner here. Unfortunately the staff seemed scattered. We were not asked about a drink order, Joe received drink menu until we promoted a server. We also were seated at a six top and not a booth. The meal was okay. Nothing over the top. Good food. Standard portions. The main issue came with the dessert. No one sang happy birthday and we were given very small amount of ice cream.
