We had a highly anticipated birthday dinner here. Unfortunately the staff seemed scattered. We were not asked about a drink order, Joe received drink menu until we promoted a server. We also were seated at a six top and not a booth. The meal was okay. Nothing over the top. Good food. Standard portions. The main issue came with the dessert. No one sang happy birthday and we were given very small amount of ice cream.
Nice atmosphere but a few things.. the table we sat at was wobbly pretty bad, the napkin I was given had a big food stain on it.. like it was old food, and the tostada carne asada was not that good. It was also way too spicy. The music/DJ was way too loud.
I tried to order a chicken breast to be added to my salad. The server told me I can order a chicken taco, take the chicken OUT of the taco, and then put the chicken onto my salad. How stupid can this place get? As someone who has over a decade in the food and restaurant in industry, this is insane.  BUT wait it gets worse... I tried to split my payment with cash and the rest on card. Staff told me they couldn't do it, their “system wouldn't allow it”. So I...
