Oh my goodness! This is the best soul food I’ve had since moving to Vegas (from the east coast). The greens!!! The yams!!! The fried chicken!!! The chicken tenders and fries!!! Everything was so flavorful and well seasoned!! This food did not disappoint!! Will definitely be returning and definitely recommend this spot!

I just ordered at 10:00 am today I was shorted on my fish only got 1 piece and no Kool aid on my tender combo and way 2much season on the chicken tenders

If I could rate this place higher I absolutely would. Despite it's small appearance there's a whole Lotta love that goes Into this food.
Everything is cooked to order so it's FRESH.
I ordered a large gumbo and their two piece fish that comes with two sides. With that I got the greens and macaroni and cheese. All of it bomb and they have the holy grail of all kool-aid ?

I was super excited to get my very first order as my coworker always hype this place. I’m not going to lie. The fish was super good, garlic bread just basic toast & Mac & cheese was a little dry. What killed my experience was the customer service. I walked in with no greeting & didn’t even get a thank you. To me , doesn’t matter how good the food is if the customer service is not good that over powers everything. Honestly not sure if I would return .

For $18 my Mac n cheese had burnt hard cheese. Yams were dry and hard. Fish was fire. The place looked like it was falling apart inside. Not going back I really tried to support the local small business but there's no saving this place with bad food SMH.

They customer service was trash no greetings or nothing he talked with an attitude … it took 30-45 for me too get my food & I was in a rush I had too go to work … I then proceed too see how good the food was the wings were great I absolutely loved the chicken but my Mac n cheese had hair in it & they greens were too salty

I ordered the oxtail meal, large gumbo, strawberry shortcake dessert cup and a slice of 7up cake. Everything was delicious! The facility was clean and organized. “A” rating! The oxtail came with 4 sides. The oxtail meat was so tender and juicy and flavorful! The gumbo was amazing and had sausage, chicken, shrimp and crab legs in it. It made about 3 serving in a large cereal bowl days after. The flavor got better and better! It only took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. There’s a cute patio area right outside. There was a monitor set up at the foot playing oldies. The chef was super nice and professional and skilled! I’ll definitely be back to taste the rest of the menu! I didn’t take pictures because I was too busy feeding my face…*?current menu posted?*

I was in the mood for soul food! Gonna be honest, it was a little sketchy for what I’m used to in Vegas so I knew he had to be good. Anyways, go and order, he was out of a lot of things but it worked out. Got a 5 piece chicken with Mac and cheese and rice and beans. He was out of some chicken so he completed with some wings. Wanted them candied yams but he was out. Let me tell you, FLAVORFUL!! Mac and cheese was cool but the rice and beans was also really good. Definitely want to stop by and grab another plate!! Like I said, FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND FLAVORFUL.

First time visiting this place. Chef D is a great guy and the food is so good! Got chicken strips and the seasoning on it and the fries was a fantastic blend. I’m going back next week for Fish Fry Friday. Looking forward to it. Prices are awesome as well.
