Had an amazing lunch here at Smoking Pig. I highly recommend it’s worth the stop. The ribs and the key lime pie are amazing. You’re right next to Nellis so half the base will be there for lunch.

Being in Las Vegas I'm wondering what they are using to smoke their meats. Must be dried tumble weeds because I don't see oak trees around and their food doesn't taste smoked. The pulled pork was terrible. Greasy and no taste. Their baked beans were the only thing that was good and had more smoke flavor than any of the food. The brisket was just ok. It was chewy. We also had the rib tips and they were pretty good besides not much meat. Of the whole ribs taste like these tips, then I would say get the ribs. Service was quick. We were the only ones in the place at 5:30 on a weekend. I know different regions have different styles of BBQ, but I don't think I like Vegas BBQ. The ambiance looks like a bbq joint and smells like one, but the taste didn't match it. I'm from the south and that is awesome bbq. If you're from the South, don't expect getting bbq like Bono's or Sunny's.

I gave them three stars. But the food was wonderful. I ordered from them yesterday evening and had it delivered to my apt. I had the three-meat combo. The pulled pork, the Angus beef brisket, and pork ribs. With the potato salad and cornbread. I also ordered the chicken tenders and fries. I also ordered the banana pudding and peach cobbler. The prices are not bad but the amount of food, I think, should be more food cause of those prices. Not bad portions to start with. Should give more fries with the tenders. I think it's cheaper to eat at the restaurant. After I ordered, it came out to 51.29. After the service fee, taxes, tip, and delivery fee. The total came out to 85 dollars. I didn't mind spending the money but I think they should give bigger portions. The food was very good. My biggest downfall is that they forgot my banana pudding. So I gave them three stars. I paid 85 dollars, including a good tip, but not all my food was delivered. I would have called them to let them know, and I'm sure that they would have let me go pick it up. But I would have had to take the bus all the way there. I was feeling relaxed and didn't feel like going into that windy weather. Plus, they were almost about to close. It was going on 8 pm. That's the time they closed. Would I eat at this place again? Possibly. I'm just not sure if I will have it delivered. Maybe pick up or even take a friend out to eat at their restaurant. The food is good.

This place was one of the closest we could find to our motel. We went on a Sunday night an hour before closing and we were the ONLY customers there. Service was speedy and the waitress was very friendly. The food was so good!!! ESPECIALLY the mac n cheese. Seriously the best mac n cheese I've ever had. My kids loved all the pigs around the place.

Really enjoy going there. Service is always excellent. This last time Alma took great care of us. Food was delicious and legit BBQ....not some greasy, sauce covered lie.Prices are reasonable and selection is solid. Definitely a hidden gem right outside the Nellis air force base gate.

Jenne was very sweet and provided great service. The Louisiana catfish is phenomenal! No sauce needed. The kids enjoyed the chicken tenders and fries as well. Very wonderful place to eat, we will be eating there again soon!

If Yelp enabled half stars, I'd give 3.5! Didn't have it in me to give a 4 so had to go with a 3. I ordered food to go at lunch time today (Wednesday). Line was fairly quick for there only being one person taking orders at the time. The woman who took my order was really nice. I ordered the 3 meat combo. Being that I don't eat pork, I asked if I could do one beef rib instead of the two spare rib option, she said yes but it would be an additional $10. I wanted to try it and beef ribs are usually pretty big so I said okay. I also chose the brisket (chopped), and the chicken. Even with the three meat plate, you only get once side. So I ordered the mac and cheese and added the collard greens. That plus tip was about $46.50. I don't think you get a lot of food for the price. The beef rib was a looooot of fat, tasted good, but majority was fat. The chopped brisket was good, but again, didn't seem like a big enough portion for the price. Chicken was decent. They also only have one sauce for everything, which I thought was very little. Macaroni and cheese and collard greens were edible but nothing to rave about. They weren't bad, they just weren't extraordinarily good either. Greens would probably taste better if I had added some hot sauce to help. If I were to come back, I'd probably try different sides. I'll probably give this place another try soon with a different order, to see if my opinion changes. But for right now, I'd say it's a little over priced for lackluster food.

The service was excellent, but the barbecue was not very good. We had combo plates, so we sampled various types of meat. All of the meats were dry, tough, and lacked flavor. Additionally, the wooden tables were tacky. The server said it was due to the cleaning solvent that they use. Overall, with the exception of service, this was a disappointing experience.
