Sofia's Pizza

Ordered takeout from here for the first time. Could not be more disappointed. The pizza was not great, the cheese was like chewing rubber. The overpriced ravioli is not good. The garlic bread is just a sandwich roll with garlic spread. The cheeseburger and fries were decent. The onion rings were the only thing that everyone enjoyed. Will not eat here again.

UNHYGIENIC and ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING - HEALTH RISK!

Place looked and smelled like it desperately needs a visit from the SNHD.

Employee smoking cig outside, walks in, starts prepping food with bare filthy hands, no wash, no gloves. Another one prepping pizzas the same unhygienic, absolutely disgusting way with absolutely disgusting dirty hands.

Blatant violation. Reporting to SNHD.
Stay the hell away from Sofia's Pizza, 821 N Lamb Blvd. Don't risk getting sick from this place.

Go to a school nearby and was recommended to go here by both my father and quite a few of my classmates. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Atmosphere is very laid back, and I rarely don't have a conversation either with the owner or the people around me. treat the man like you would a friend or family because he keeps the same energy, he's a gem, and he runs the store practically by himself. Now as for the pizza, it's a New York style, very airy, crispy crust. The sauce has a great mouth feel, and with the oil from the cheese it becomes a very savory. robust sauce, not too salty either. Not sure if he pre cooks it, but it definitely tastes like it! Only thing i can possibly complain about is maybe the flavor of the crust itself, which is a tad bit bland. On pizza alone I'd give it about an 8.4, factoring for value, 10/10 as Not only that but he's got more meats than arby's, selling subs, wings, and he just told me tonight he's starting to sell ribs, even got to see the smoker for a sec. If anybody get's the chance, go check it out. Born and raised here and I rarely go to local businesses mostly cause I'm afraid to try new things and waste money but I think a made a good choice and I hope the people who potentially may see this, make a good one too :)
