Great food every time I go here. Service is a bit slow, but worth the wait.

Amazing people from Puerto Rico. The grilled chicken was amazing and I recommend the alcapurria, trifongo and arroz con ganudels. Great Puerto Rican food.

It’s a little pricey than what I was used to in Chicago but we are out west. I do however recommend this restaurant.

Excellent. Everything I have ever eaten there has been delicious. My favorite is the trifongo, carne guisada, and arroz mamposteao.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY. THE PORIONS SIZE ARE SMALL. THE ROAST PORK AND PORK CHUNKS ARE , $14 TO $15 DOLLARS FOR A CHILD'S PORTION. WE ORDERD THE ARROZ, FOR $5.75 AND IT WAS AN ICE CREAM SCOOP SIZE. A REGULAR SIDE OF BEANS WAS $4.50, AND WAS LESS THAN A SCOOP. THE PAPAS AND EMPANADAS WERE A NICE SIZE. WE SPENT $60 FOR 2 PEOPLE, AND THE PORTION SIZES WERE SMALL. THEY WEIGH THEIR FOOD, SO DON'T EXPECT ALOT LIKE YOU WOULD GET FROM A LATIN BODEGA, 2 STARS FOR FLAVOR, AND FOR BEING CHEAP ON THE PORTION SIZES.

I’m 100% Puerto Rican and came here really craving a good mofongo. Unfortunately, it didn’t hit the spot. The balance of ingredients was off — it had an overpowering garlic taste, and the plantain was overcooked. Instead of being soft and moist, it crumbled easily and lacked that signature texture.
Our server wasn’t very familiar with the menu and wasn’t able to give good recommendations, which made the experience a bit more frustrating.
We also tried the alcapurria, and while the flavor was actually really good, it was undercooked on the inside.
We love and appreciate our Mexican brothers and sisters, but Puerto Rican food has its own sazón and technique — and it really shows when it’s not prepared by people familiar with it. That might be one of the reasons the quality didn’t quite live up to expectations.

2nd time going to this restaurant…food was good but service was horrible…went and to make a order and was told by manager ..that we have no food and it’s a party so we can’t serve you and I was told rudely like I know you don’t have food and were having a party..you were open and you could have been nicer about it….customer service sucks!!!!!!!
