The store is so cute. You can watch them cook the Taiyaki right in front of you since they are made to order. So that means, FRESH! We got every flavor except for Oreo. I'm not really that into Taiyaki because of the texture of the filling. But these were good,m. My favorite was the Nutella!

Summer is here :D Love this place, love the simple menu and love the fact I can get delicious soft serve matcha ice cream without driving all the way to Chinatown! I'm a basic, simple dessert kinda person, so am totally appreciating the minimalist aesthetic of this place. Good service and clean ambiance. 5/5 overall.

I really enjoyed it! The ice cream was fresh. I would also recommend the strawberry milk because that's really good too. They really stuff the taiyaki with Nutella which I loved. The service was nice, however the music was loud.

DELICIOUS! I came here with my family for a little treat. We ordered soft serve, taiyaki, and cold brew. The service was pretty quick and the workers were helpful and greeted us when we walked in and when we left. The music inside is a bit loud but the location is super clean with a large bench to sit on as well as chairs and a long table against the wall. We loved the taiyaki. My favorite flavor was the Nutella filled one. At first we ordered only a few flavors and after tasting we actually ended up ordering more! It was super good. They come out really hot so I definitely recommend letting it cool down a bit before biting in!

I found this place because of Yelp. Walked in, nobody there to greet me, I could see girl in back on her phone. Took some photos. Asked for a sample of the Matcha & Cream swirl flavor. Sorry, no samples here, and they are specialty Asian flavors with the exception of the chocolate, coffee, & cookies & cream. Really cheap on the business here, not to let grown adults try a sample to decide on a flavor of yogurt from your limited choices! So to err on the side of caution my son ordered chocolate & I ordered the matcha & cream. We were asked if we wanted any toppings after we ordered, so I'm guessing they are included in the price. My son said he wanted sprinkles, but they weren't the long cylindrical sprinkles, they were the hard spheres they use on top of cupcakes and cookies. He did not like them. The matcha & cream swirl was very good. Given my overall experience at this establishment, I would not waste my money on returning here. Plenty of other yogurt places to go to with good service and FREE samples. If I didn't like my yogurt, I would be throwing $4.28 in the garbage.

I would love to give this place a review but unfortunately I can review the soft serve. There are some odd rules of this place. I simply want to purchase 2 separate flavors and they woman at check stated that was not an option. I understand the limited swirls however not being able to purchase 2 separate flavors appears to be odd to me. This is my first time to this business and no samples so no way knowing what your getting. Very odd rules. Unfortunately I was not able to provide a review of the taste but only the service and rules.

have visited SomiSomi exactly twice the first time was around 1 April, and the desert was excellent but when we sat down to eat, we noticed that the area where you sit was so disgustingly dirty, that we left our desserts with us. we came back yesterday, 4 April because the desserts are very good. I wanted to try the Nutella Taiyaki... they still hadn't cleaned the customer waiting area and you can see pictures. It's disgusting. The health department would shut them down the employees that are neglecting these areas should be fired. I'm sad to say I probably won't be back. Updated: I am compelled to change my review for this post (A) most importantly because I love the food. (B) the owner has responded and has explained to my satisfaction the reason why during the 2 visits 3 days apart that the counter was not cleaned. Thank you for responding and thanks for fixing the issue.
This was super delicious, it's a fun place to go with friends. We ordered the ube ice cream with a Nutella filled taiyaki, very good but I would've like more Nutella. We also ordered the strawberry milk which was amazing. Service was very nice and patient. The place itself was clean so as the bathrooms.

I had the pleasure of trying Somi Somi for the first time recently, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Opting for the Upside Down Ahboong with ube soft serve and custard filling topped with biscoff, I was in for a treat. The first thing that struck me was the creamy texture of the ube soft serve. It was incredibly smooth and packed with flavor, making each bite a heavenly indulgence. The Upside Down Ahboong itself was a masterpiece. The crispy exterior provided the perfect contrast to the creamy soft serve, creating a delightful combination of textures. The custard filling added an extra layer of richness, elevating the dessert to new heights. Overall, my first experience at Somi Somi exceeded my expectations. The quality of the ice cream, the delicious flavors, and the attention to detail in every bite left a lasting impression. I'll definitely be back when I'm craving ube or in need of a sweet treat. It's one of my go to places for dessert in la or la Vegas. The ambience is nice and service is excellent. Their location in Las Vegas i specifically like since it's in a complex where there a lot of good restaurants to go to. So after having a nice meal, ending it at somi somi makes my day.
