Five stars!!! I have been driving by this place wayyy too long ! I finally got a chance to stop In to eat and I ordered the stuffed peppers, because I grew up eating them and I have never found a place that serves them homemade! Expect now!!!
The Chicago style hot dog was good, fries were mediocre, tasted like they were reheated in the oil, and there was no salt on them. The way they run the place is odd too, they have 1 guy seating, dropping menus, taking drink orders, running food, and cleaning the tables, 2 order takers [wouldn't call them servers] come take the order, then dont come back to your table til they drop the check. Then you have to walk up to the counter and pay. I hope they tip out the guy whos...
Chicago Style food, chicago-style hot dogs, beef sandwiches, this place has lasagna, chicken, great service. It has been around for 27 years in counting. Yes, I would definitely recommend Sonio's Cafe.
