I paid $75 for 2 catfish dinners the macaroni was just cheese the kool-aid was hot the hot sauce and tarter sauce tasted like it expired the greens taste like it came out the can. It was not worth it im sorry

The food is always on point for me. It's a small black owned business but they manage it well I eat here every time I hit town I've tried others including those with the long wait time but the Soul Food Cafe is just good good food. Its not fancy but its like eating at your Mamas kitchen. I've had smothered chicken, smothered pork jobs, fried chicken, chicken wings and waffles catfish and sides, greens, yams, mac n cheese, red beans and rice and Yes every thing was gooood! oh you're going to love that sweet buttery corncake you get when you sit down! The service is nice too. I highly recommend you give them a try.

I walked into this place craving some good collard greens. Im from the south, and miss the food so much. Let me tell yall this... the man behind the counter had a good sense of humor. And an extensive menu that made me feel like I was back home. And the collard greens... the did NOT disappoint! Go show their restaurant some love yall!!

I Drove quite a distance, online says closed at 9pm but it was 7:50 when i got there and while I was pulling up the cook was already yelling we closed . I'm like ok but it says 9pm online they informed me they don't have the power to change the hours. Figure it out, do better.

Catfish, okra and greens are very good. The pork chop that I had on a previous visit needs to be a little bit more tender. Some of the other sides needed some work, for instance, the cabbage is cooked too long and is a bit soggy. The macaroni and cheese needs more cheeses (multiple) and some or more seasoning. Nevertheless, I'm willing to wait for their improvement. Although I was disappointed by some of the sides the catfish alone is worth continued visits!
