We decided on fish for dinner after having veal and chicken when we were there previously. I had the swordfish special and my wife had lemon sole. For a tavern like surrounding, the food was exceptional. My swordfish was light , tender and flavorful. My wife ordered the sole with franchese sauce and ate it all. Just took my spouse there for her birthday and this is the best restaurant experience we have had with one another. Everything is top notch. The ingredients are so fresh and so tasty and the food is nothing like anything you could cook at home. The service was top notch! I don’t think our water glass was ever less than half full. Very authentic with the menu, decoration and Italian staff.
My husbands lobster ravioli was really good! I got the baked butternut squash ravioli and there was an off putting amount of cheese on top. I was peeling inches of cheese off my plate to find a ravioli. Some people may like that, just wasn’t for me.
